Dispensational views

The various group of Christian over the centuries have adapted the way to understand the scripture was by means of Dispensationalism.

What is Dispensation?

The teaching of Dispensation came from the Brethrens. There is Christian brethren by the name Paul David Nevin who define dispensation as God's distinctive method of governing mankind or a group of men during a period of human history, marked by a crucial event, test, failure & judgement. From the Divine standpoint, it is a stewardship, a rule of life, or a responsibility for managing God's affairs in His house. from a historical standpoint, it is a stage in the progress of revelation."

Another describes that one of the best way to study and understanding the Bible rightly dividing the word of truth (2 Tim 2:15) is to study it dispensationally New Testament occurrence of the word "dispensation":- 1 Cor 9:17, Eph 1:10; 3:2; Col 1:25.or Stewardship (Lk 16:2,3, 4) Other form such as administration, order, management, economy, charge; greek word is oikonomia means economy. There is 3 types of Dispensational view ie Traditional Dispensation , Progressive Dispensational. Let us study the difference. Please study carefully the links, charts and see which is the rightly dividing the Word

Dispensation in the Bible? Hebrew word of Dispensation in this context

(1 Cor 9:17 KJV) "For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a dispensation of the gospel is committed unto me."

(comment)

Willingly or unwillingly, Paul could not escape his responsibility to preach the gospel, because a dispensation (= stewardship responsibility) had been committed to him, and he was under orders to preach even though he was never paid (cf. Luke 17:10). (Eph 1:10 KJV) "That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:"

|10| for a pekudat Hashem (stewardship of G-d), a plan for the fullness of time, gathering up all things in Moshiach, both the things in Shomayim and the things on ha'Aretz in him.

the dispensation of the fulness of times. I.e., the plan, the arrangement, of the millennial kingdom. gather together in one all things in Christ. I.e., that God might head up everything in Christ and bring everything into harmony (Col. 1:16).

(Eph 3:2 KJV) "If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:"

dispensation = stewardship. Paul was entrusted with the message of the grace of God as the apostle to the Gentiles pekudat Hashem of the Chen v'Chesed Hashem (v. 1; Gal. 2:7).

(Col 1:25 KJV) "Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;"

the dispensation = the stewardship, assignment, office (1 Cor. 4:1).

Dispensationalism - Biblical Economics A dispensationalist believer  does not have much love and concern the Jewish people, this is partly the wrong teach of Replacement Theory.  If God has rejected Israel, and there is no special future for the Jewish nation, why should Christians bother to bring the Gospel - the Message about the Messiah, who alone can save us, to the Jew first, like the Apostle to the Gentiles exhorted them? And, in fact, most who accept Replacement Theology don't bother. This is infact to destroy the soul of Jews. Aren't they in danger of experiencing the curse found in Genesis 12? I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you?

Ultra Dispensationalism:

What is Bullingerism of Ultra-Dispensationalism?

This system was first adovacted some years ago by Dr. E.W Bullinger (1837 -1913), who was educated at King's college,,,, London and was a clergyman in the Church of England. These views have been widely spread through the notes of the Companion Bible which he edited Dr. Bullinger's positions are glaringly opposed to what is generally accepted as orthodox teaching. This movement has been carried forth in our day by ardent proponets such as Cornelius Stame J.CO' Hair and Charles Baker.

There are a number of outstanding tenets of Ultra-dispensationalism.

First, it is insisted that the four gospels are entirely Jewish and have no real message for the church.

Secondly, it is maintained that in the Book of Acts we do not have the church, the body of Christ, but the word ekklesia (church), as it is used in that book refers to a different Church altogether than that of Paul's Prison Epistles alone.

Thirdly, it is contended that Paul did not receive his special revelation of the mystery of the Body until his imprisonment in Rome, and that his prison Epistles alone reveal this truth and are, strictly speaking, the only portion of the Holy Scriptures given to the members of His body. All of the other epistle of Paul are regulated to an earlier dispensation and were for the instruction of so Jewish Church of that time.

Fourthly, the Believers ordinances, having been given before Paul, are supposed to have no real connection with the present economy, and therefore are relegated to the past and may again have a place in the future Great Tribulation.

Besides these points, there are many other unscriptural things which are advocated by Bullingerism. May boldy advocated the sleep of the soul between death and resurrection, the annihilation of the wicked, the universal salvation of all men and demons, the denial of the eternal Sonship of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the denial of the personality of the Holy Spirit. All these evil Doctrines find congenial soil in Bullingerism or Ultra-dispensation.

CONCLUSION : Issue in relation with Jews and Non Jewish believers

I study in the view as God's entire plan for mankind are base according to the 7th feast of the L_rd which will stretch to eternity. In Hebrews 10:8-10 mension with regards to the 5 of offerings we can notice that G_d does not take away the Torah; rather He takes away the first system of sacrifices and priesthood in order to set up the second within the framework of the ONE ETERNAL TORAH. The main point is that the ONCE-AND-FOR-ALL-ness is the eternal effectivenss of Messiah Yeshua's sacrifice. Yeshua Messiah is the same Yesterday (In the days of His life on earth), today (As our Great High Priest in heaven) and forever (To secure and consummate our salvation).

In two of the Dispensation " The Lord set up the church as a substitute for the kingdom due to his rejection by the Jews. (well known as the replacement theory) In this statement Paul has something to tell us as Gentile believer in Roman 11:18. Paul knows that we Gentile believers in the community who will act arrogantly or expressing such views, towards Israel and behaving as though they are the root (Israel) instead of its branches. He thus addresses his argument directly to them (cf verse 13). The root and it (original) branches are Israel and another statement is"God has two distinct and unique programs for Israel and the Church. God have only one bible for both Messianic Jews and Non-Jews, if God has two set of program then He would have given us two bible one for Jews and Non-Jews; there is no two set of Salvation for Messianic Jews and Non-Jews Believer, Messiah Yeshua does not have two bride. I have watch with saddness that there are some Christian may have a wrong conception of feasting in their hearts that the Non-Jews believer will go to heaven to be with the Lord to have jolly good time and let the Jews stay behind to face the tribulation and while some may ever think that Jews only will be saved after the Christian has raptured. This has made many Christian today have adopted a careless, unloving, let God and His angel deal with Israel, why bother to minister to the Jews people God will take care of it, it is none of our business and irresponsible attitude against their Jewish brethren with regards of their Salvation, spiritual well being and welfare concern. Take note that the God still loves Israel "For the gifts (to the Jews) and the calling of God are irrevocable.(read article on Grafting in Romans 11 " This is the word for the Gentiles "Hear (Shama) the word of the LORD, O ye nations (Goyim; gentiles H1471), and declare it in the isles afar off, and say, He that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd doth his flock." (Jer 31:10 KJV)

I see that some part of Dispensation teaching view that G_d's teaching and instruction (Torah) are no longer neccessary, I view that the Torah teaches us how to live a Practical Christian life and we draw many spiritual lessons from the Old Testament for our learn and correction, not as an Salvation Issues and the Dispensation segregates between God's chosen people particularly the relationship between Jews and Non-Jewish believers behaving like the "the tales of two cities". It is important to define the Jews, there are two types these last days. The Jews that are not regenerate are simply known to be Judaism while the regenerated Jews (born again Jews) are known as Messianic Jews. To say Jews in general you probably lumb both of them together would mean even a Jew born again you still call him unsaved one which is incorrect. Many Christian believer are hestitating to receive our regenerate Jewish brethren into our fellowship and expect the Jews to behave like gentiles.

In addition to another view :I was told that Dispensationalists teach that believers today are NOT "Spiritual Jews", as the Bible itself states in Gal. 3:28; Col. 3:9-11; and Ro. 10:12 and reason was given that UNcircumcised Gentiles were never allowed to be part of the nation of Israel. The majority of people who make up the body of Christ today would have had absolutely no inheritance in Israel, because every Jewish male was required to be circumcised."

(The term for Uncircumcised mean Unbeliever/carnal. Spiritual Jews are regenerated Jews while the gentiles are known as the GRAFT-IN ONES by His GRACE and MERCY. Other description we gentile who did not have the inheritance, by faith in the Messiah we become the inserted one, the other flock, Spirit of adoption, graft in ones, ADD-ON-ONES. The Non-Jews who believe in Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) are becoming part of Israel as God Kingdom in the Millenium which means you are next-of-kin, a member of God's family and not replace Israel. Paul has warn you don't boast and look down, or act harshly towards the Jewish people but be thankful, grateful and serve in humility. BRO do not built walls in your heart which Messiah Yeshua had broken down (m'chitzah)! Ephesian 2:14-15 )

"That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:" ====> 'you are become a family of God" (Eph 2:12 KJV)

"I believe the Lord Jesus said that John 10 vs 16 that he will reunited the sheep (Jews) and the other sheep(Non-Jews) into ONE FLOCK. Ephesians 2:14 For He Himself is our peace, who made both groups into one and broke down the barrier of the dividing wall, by abolishing in His flesh the enmity, which is the Torah of commandments contained in ordinances, so that in Himself He might make the two into one new man, thus establishing peace, and might reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, by it having put to death the enmity. AND HE CAME AND PREACHED PEACE TO YOU WHO WERE FAR AWAY, AND PEACE TO THOSE WHO WERE NEAR; for through Him we both have our access in one Spirit to the Father. So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of God's household in the Messiah Yeshua

David Stern wrote in Jewish New Testament commentary (Messianic Jew) explains that In this passage Paul is writing to Gentiles and his object is to reassure them that they are fully God's people that because of their faith in the Messiah and his work no barrier exists between them and Jews. Gentile are not second class citizen of the Kingdom. As a next of kin you share all joys, trials, suffering and affairs with the Jewish people as One in the Messiah. (not MYOB) (The Lord does not have two wives)

Here we see Gentile going into the Jewish Synagogue to learn the Torah.

It was about AD 48 that year "Then Paul took the men, and the next day, purifying himself along with them (Gentile), went into the temple giving notice of the completion of the days of purification, until the sacrifice was offered for each one of them." (Acts 21:26 NNAS)

EXAMPLE:Don't forget that Ruth is a gentile, she has shown great love for the Jewish and be very much part of the community. In her love and humility she was rewarded to have part to play in bring the Messiah into the World. A gentile in her bottom of her heart would say: "thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God" (Ruth 1:16)

Question for thought: * Why is it that when we speak of the "Church" we are primarily thinking of the "Gentiles" Church, whereas Paul says that the Church is made up of "Jews and Gentiles"together?

On the other side it, it is such an encouraging sight to see some other Christians around the world who showed great interest in the God's chosen people and ever wanting to help in every way such as prayer support for salvation and partnership in suffering, financial support, ever ready to restore or return the leadership to the Jews, they are still our elder brother and extending a welcoming a practical fellowship with the Messianic Jewish. This is what I call the One New Man in Christ.

Let us as Christian offer our prayer that goes to our Jewish brethren that they may see the salvation of Messiah Yeshua during the dispensation of Grace and not the wroth and His judgment in the tribulation. Whether we wil be rapture before or after the tribulation according to His appointment time that we be ready and live clean life that is pleasing to him.

PROBLEMS WITH DISPENSATIONALISM by William Kilgore

"Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved."
(Rom 10:1 KJV)

We thank G-d many Jews have responded by faith in Yeshua (the Living Torah manifested in the flesh), to those who have yet to respond we have praying for you"
