= Alef; Avadim; Amein1:1 The Apokalupsis (Revelation) of Yeshua (יהושע) Ha Mashiach, which Elohim (אלהים) gave unto him, to shew unto His avadim things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified [it] by His messenger unto His eved Yochanan:
1:2 Who bare Eidut Dvar Elohim (אלהים), and of the Eidut Yeshua (יהושע) Ha Mashiach, and of all things that he saw.
1:3 Blessed [is] he that readeth, and they that hear the Devrei hanevu'ah (Words of Prophecy), and keep those things which are written therein: for the time [is] at hand. (22:10)
Letters to the Seven Assemblies
1:4 Yochanan to the seven Assemblies which are in Asia:
"Chen v'Chesed, and Shalom, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Ruachim which are before His kes (throne); "
1:5 And from Yeshua (יהושע) Ha Moshiach, [who is] the faithful eidut (witness), [and] the bachor (first begotten) of the dead, and the prince of the melekhim of the eretz. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in His own blood,
1:6 And hath made us melekhim and Kohenim unto Elohim (אלהים) and his Father; to him [be] tifereth and dominion le olam va-ed.

1:7 Hinnei, HU ha Ba with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they [also] which pierced him: and all kindreds of the eretz shall wail because of him. Even so,
Amein.
1:8 ANI HU ha Alef ve ha Tav, the beginning and the ending, saith Adonay, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
Yochanan on the Isle of Patmos
1:9 I Yochanan, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Yeshua (יהושע) Ha Mashiach, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the Dvar Elohim (אלהים), and for the Eidut Yeshua (יהושע) Ha Mashiach.
1:10 I was in the Ruach on Yom HaAdon, and heard behind me a great Voice, as of a shofar,
1:11 Saying, ANI HU ha Alef va haTav, Ha Rishon (the first) and HaAcharon (The Last): and, What thou seest, write in a sefer, and send [it] unto the seven Assemblies which are in Asia; unto Ephesos, and unto Smuna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thuateira, and unto Sardeis, and unto Philadelpheia, and unto Laodikeia.
1:12 And I turned to see the Voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw shivat zahaven Menorot;
1:13 And in the midst of the shivat Menorot [one] like unto the Son of Man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a zahaven girdle.
1:14 His head and [His] hairs [were] white like wool, as white as snow; and His eyes [were] as a flame of fire;
1:15 And His feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and His voice as the sound of many waters.
1:16 And he had in His yad yamin shivat hakokhavim (seven stars): and out of His mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and His countenance [was] as ha shemesh (sun) shineth in His strength.
1:17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And He laid His yad yamin upon me, saying unto me:
"Fear not; ANI HaRishon (The First) and
HaAcharon (The Last): "
1:18 ANI HU that liveth, and was dead; and, Hinnei, ANI lehaim olam vaed, Amein; and have the keys of hell and of death.

1:20 The mystery of the shivat hakokhavim (seven stars) which thou sawest in My yad yamin, and the shivat zahaven Menorot. The shivat hakokhavim (seven stars) are the messengers of the seven Assemblies: and the shivat Menorot which thou sawest are the seven Assemblies.
