7:1![]()
And after these things I saw four malakim (messengers) standing on the
four corners of the earth, holding the arba
rukhovt (ארבע רוחות) of the earth,
that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the yam (sea), nor
on any etz (tree).
7:2 And I saw another messenger ascending from the rising of the shemesh (Sun), having the Chotam (seal) of the Chayim Elohim (אלהים): and He cried with a loud voice to the four malakim (messengers), to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the yam (sea),
7:3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the yam (sea), nor the trees, till we have Chotam the avadim of our Elohim (אלהים) in their foreheads.
7:4 And I heard the number of them which were Chotam (seal): [and there were] Chotam a hundred [and] forty [and] four thousand of kol ha shivtei Benai Yisra'el.
7:5 Of the Shevet Yehudah [were] Chotam twelve thousand.
Of the Shevet of Reuven [were] Chotam twelve thousand.
Of the Shevet of Gad [were] Chotam twelve thousand.
7:6 Of the Shevet of Asher [were] Chotam twelve thousand.
Of the Shevet of Nafatli [were] Chotam (seal) twelve thousand.
Of the Shevet of Menasheh [were] Chotam twelve thousand.
7:7 Of the Shevet of Shimon [were] Chotam twelve thousand.
Of the Shevet of Levy [were] Chotam twelve thousand.
Of the Shevet of Yissakhar [were] Chotam twelve thousand.
7:8 Of the Shevet of Zevulun [were] Chotam twelve thousand.
Of the Shevet of Yosef [were] Chotam twelve thousand.
Of the Shevet of BenYamin [were] Chotam twelve thousand.
7:9 After this I beheld, and, hinnei, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the kes (throne), and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;
7:10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our Elohim (אלהים) which sits upon the kes (throne), and to the Lamb.
7:11 And kol ha malakim (messengers) stood round about the kes (throne), and [about] the Zekenim (elders) and the Arbah Chayyot (Four living creatures), and fell before the kes (throne) on their faces, and worshipped Elohim (אלהים) ,
7:12 Saying, Amein: Baruch (Blessing), and Kavod (glory), and chokmah (wisdom), and Hoduyah, and hod, and Oz (power), and Gevurah (strength), [be] to our Elohim (אלהים) le-olam-ve-ed. Amein.
7:13 And one of the Zekenim (elders) answered, saying to me:
What are these which are arrayed in white robes?
and whence came they?
7:14 And I said to Him, Sir, you know. And He said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
7:15 Therefore are they before the kes (throne) of Elohim (אלהים), and serve Him day and night in his temple: and He that sits on the kes (throne) shall dwell among them.
7:16 They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sunlight on them, nor any heat.
7:17 For the Lamb which is in the midst of the kes (throne) shall feed them, and shall lead them to chayim fountains of waters: and Elohim (אלהים) shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.
