30:1 (30:2) And Moshe spoke to the Rashei HaMattot concerning benai Yisrael, saying, This [is] the thing which ADONAI (יהוה) has commanded.
30:2 (30:3) If a man vow a neder to ADONAI (יהוה), or swear an shebuah(oath) to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth.
30:3 (30:4) If a woman also vow a neder to ADONAI (יהוה), and bind herself by a bond, [being] in her father's house in her youth;
30:4 (30:5) And her avi hear her neder, and her bond wherewith she has bound her soul, and her avi shall say nothing to her: then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she has bound her soul shall stand.
30:5 (30:6) But if her father opposes her on the day that he hears of it, no vow of hers, no pledge by which she has bound herself shall stand. And ADONAI (יהוה) will forgive her, because her father opposed her.
30:6 (30:7) And if she had at all an husband, when she vowed, or uttered ought out of her lips, wherewith she bound her soul;
30:7 (30:8) And her husband heard [it,] and say nothing to her on the day that he heard [it]: then her vows shall stand, and her bonds wherewith she bound her soul shall stand.
30:8 (30:9) But if her husband disallowed her on the day that he heard [it]; then he shall make her vow which she vowed, and that which she uttered with her lips, wherewith she bound her soul, of none effect: and ADONAI (יהוה) shall forgive her.
30:9 (30:10) "Also any vow of a widow or a divorced woman, by which she has bound herself, shall stand against her.
30:10 (30:11) "If she vowed in her husband's house, or bound herself by an agreement with an oath,
30:11 (30:12) And her husband heard it, and made no response to her and did not overrule her, then all her vows shall stand, and every agreement by which she bound herself shall stand.
30:12 (30:13) But if her husband has utterly made them void on the day he heard [them; then] whatsoever proceeded out of her lips concerning her vows, or concerning the bond of her soul, shall not stand: her husband has made them void; and ADONAI (יהוה) shall forgive her.
30:13 (30:14) Every vow and every binding oath to afflict her soul, her husband may confirm it, or her husband may make it void.
30:14 (30:15) Now if her husband makes no response whatever to her from day to day, then he confirms all her vows or all the agreements that bind her; he confirms them, because he made no response to her on the day that he heard them.
30:15 (30:16) But if he shall any ways make them void after that he has heard [them]; then he shall bear her iniquity.
30:16 (30:17) These are the statutes which ADONAI (יהוה) commanded Moshe, between a man and his wife, and between a father and his daughter in her youth in her father's house.
