30:1(RY:ii; LY:iv)
And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon you, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before you, and you shall call [them] to mind among all the nations, whither YHWH (יהוה) Eloheicha hath driven you,
30:2 And shall return to YHWH (יהוה) Eloheicha, and shall shema (obey) His voice according to all that I command you this day, you and your children, with all thine heart, and with all your soul;
30:3 That then YHWH (יהוה) Eloheicha will turn your captivity, and have compassion upon you, and will return and gather you from all the nations, whither YHWH (יהוה) Eloheicha hath scattered you.
If any of you be exile to the outmost parts of heavens, from thence will YHWH (יהוה) Eloheicha gather you, and from there will HE will bring you:
30:5 And YHWH (יהוה) Eloheicha will bring you into the eretz which your avot possessed, and you shall possess it; and he will do you good, and multiply you above your avot.
30:6 And YHWH (יהוה) Eloheicha will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of your seed, to love YHWH (יהוה) Eloheicha with all thine heart, and with all your soul, that you mayest live.
30:7(RY:iii, LY:v)
And YHWH (יהוה) Eloheicha will put all these curses upon thine enemies, and on them that hate you, which persecuted you.
30:8 And you shall return and shema (obey) the voice of YHWH (יהוה), and do all His mitzvot which I command you this day.
30:9 And YHWH (יהוה) Eloheicha will make you plenteous in every work of thine hand, in the fruit of your body, and in the fruit of your cattle, and in the fruit of your eretz, for good: for YHWH (יהוה) will again rejoice over you for good, as he rejoiced over your avot:
30:10 If you shall hearken to the voice of YHWH (יהוה) Eloheicha, to keep His mitzvot and His chukkot which are written in this sefer ha Torah, [and] if you turn to YHWH (יהוה) Eloheicha with all thine lev, and with all your nefesh.
30:11(LY:vi)
For this mitzvah which I command you this day, it [is] not hidden from you, neither [is] it far off.
30:12 It [is] not in shamayim, that you shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to shamayim, and bring it to us, that we may hear it, and do it?
30:13 Neither [is] it beyond the sea, that you shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it to us, that we may hear it, and do it?
30:14 But the word [is] very nigh to you, in your mouth, and in your heart, that you mayest do it.
30:15(RY:iv, LY:vii)
See, I have set before you this day life and good, and death and evil;
30:16 In that I command you this day to love YHWH (יהוה) Eloheicha, to halak in His ways, and to keep His mitzvot and His chukkot and His mishpatim, that you mayest live and multiply: and YHWH (יהוה) Eloheicha shall bless you in the eretz whither you goest to possess it.
30:17 But if thine heart turn away, so that you will not hear, but shall be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them;
30:18(LY:Maftir)
I denounce to you this day, that ye shall surely perish, [and that] ye shall not prolong [your] days upon the eretz, whither you passest over Yarden to go to possess it.
30:19 I call shamayim and eretz to record this day against you, [that] I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both you and your seed may live:
30:20 That you mayest love YHWH (יהוה) Eloheicha, [and] that you mayest shema (obey) His voice, and that you mayest cleave to Him: for he [is] your life, and the length of your days: that you mayest dwell in the eretz which YHWH (יהוה) sware to your avot, to Avraham, to Yitzhak, and to Yaakov, to give them.
