The Overview Chart of melekhim Yehudah

2nd Chronicles 7:14 If My people, which are called by My Name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Torah for Melekh on the throne (Devarim 17:14-20)

17:14 When thou art come unto the eretz which YHWH  Eloheicha giveth thee, and shalt yaresh (possess ירשׁ) it, and shalt dwell therein, and shalt say, I will set a melekh over me, like as all the nations that [are] about me;

17:15 Thou shalt in any wise set [him] melekh over thee, whom YHWH  Eloheicha shall choose: [one] from among thy brethren shalt thou set melekh over thee: thou mayest not set a stranger over thee, which [is] not achicha (thy brother).

17:16 But he shall not multiply horses to himself, nor cause the people to return to Mitzrayim, to the end that he should multiply horses: forasmuch as YHWH (יהוה) hath said unto you, Ye shall henceforth return no more that way.

17:17 Neither shall he multiply wives to himself, that his lev turn not away: neither shall he greatly multiply to himself kesef and zahav.

17:18 And it shall be, when he sitteth upon the throne of his kingdom, that he shall write him a copy of this Torah in a book out of [that which is] before the Kohenim the Leviim:

17:19 And it shall be with him, and he shall read therein all the yamin of his life: that he may learn to fear YHWH (יהוה) Elohav, to shomer all the devarim of this Torah and these chukkot, to do them:

17:20 That his lev be not lifted up above his brethren, and that he turn not aside from the commandment, [to] the right hand, or [to] the left: to the end that he may prolong [his] yamin in his kingdom, he, and his children, in the midst of Yisrael.

He did evil in the sight of YHWH his Elohim; he did not humble himself before Yirmeyahu ha Navi who spoke for YHWH.  He also rebelled against King Nebukadnetstsar who had made him swear allegiance by Elohim. But he stiffened his neck and hardened his heart against turning to YHWH Elohav Yisrael. Furthermore, all the officials of the priests and the people were very unfaithful following all the abominations of the nations; and they defiled the house of YHWH which He had sanctified in Yerushalayim. YHWH, the Elohim of their fathers, sent word to them again and again by His messengers, because He had compassion on His people and on His dwelling place; but they continually mocked the messengers of Elohim, despised His words and scoffed at His prophets, until the wrath of YHWH arose against His people, until there was no remedy. Therefore He brought up against them the king of the Chaldeans who slew their young men with the sword in the house of their sanctuary, and had no compassion on young man or virgin, old man or infirm; He gave them all into his hand. All the articles of the house of Elohim, great and small, and the treasures of the house of YHWH, and the treasures of the king and of his officers, he brought them all to Babylon. Then they burned the house of Elohim and broke down the wall of Yerushalayim, and burned all its fortified buildings with fire and destroyed all its valuable articles. Those who had escaped from the sword he carried away to Babylon; and they were servants to him and to his sons until the rule of the kingdom of Persia, to fulfill the word of YHWH by the mouth of Yirmeyahu, until the land had enjoyed its Shabbot. All the days of its desolation it kept shabbat until seventy years were complete. Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia--in order to fulfill the word of YHWH by the mouth of Yirmeyahu--YHWH stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, so that he sent a proclamation throughout His kingdom, and also put it in writing, saying, "Thus says Cyrus king of Persia, 'YHWH, the Elohim of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth, and He has appointed me to build Him a house in Yerushalayim, which is in Yehudah. Whoever there is among you of all His people, may YHWH his Elohim be with him, and let him go up!'"
