24 Seal Kohenim (Elders)
10:1(10:2) Now those that sealed [were], Nechemyah, the Tirshatha, ben Hachalyah, and Tzidkiyah,
10:2 (10:3) Serayah, Azaryah, Yirmeyah,
10:3 (10:4) Pashur, Amaryah, Malkiyah,
10:4 (10:5)Hattush, Shevanyah, Malluch,
10:5 (10:6) Harim, Meremoth, Ovadyah,
10:6 (10:7) Dani El, Ginnethon, Baruch,
10:7 (10:8)Meshullam, Aviyah, Miyamin,
10:8 (10:9) Maatzyah, Bilgai, Shemayah: these [were] the Kohenim.
10:9 (10:10) And the Leviim: both Yehoshua ben Azanyah, Binnui of benai Henadad, Kadmi-El;
10:10 (10:11) And their brethren, Shevanyah, Hodiyah, Kelita, Pelayah, Hanan,
10:11 (10:12) Micha, Rehov, Hashavyah,
10:12(10:13) Zakkur, Sherevyah, Shevanyah,
10:13 (10:14) Hodiyah, Bani, Beninu.
10:14(10:15) The chief of the people;Parosh, Pachat-Moav, Elam, Zatthu, Bani,
10:15 (10:16)Bunni, Azgad, Bevai,
10:16 (10:17)Adoniyah, Bigvai, Adin,
10:17 (10:18)Ater, Hizkiyah, Azzur,
10:18(10:19) Hodiyah, Hashum, Bezai,
10:19 (10:20) Hariph, Anathoth, Nebai,
10:20 (10:21) Magpiash, Meshullam, Hezir,
10:21 (10:22) Meshezav'el, Zadok, Yaddua,
10:22 (10:23) Pelatyah, Hanan, Anayah,
10:23 (10:24) Hoshea, Hananyah, Hashuv,
10:24(10:25) Hallohesh, Pileha, Shobek,
10:25 (10:26) Rehum, Hashabnah, Maaseyah,
10:26 (10:27) And Ahiyah, Hanan, Anan,
10:27 (10:28) Malluch, Harim, Baanah.
10:28 (10:29) And the rest of the people, the Kohenim, the Leviim, the shoer (porter), the singers, the Netinim, and all they that had separated themselves from the people of the lands unto Ha Torah of Elohim (אלהים), their wives, their banim, and their banot, every one having yada (knowledge), and having biyn (discern, understanding);
10:29 (10:30)They clave to their brethren, their nobles, and entered into a curse, and into an oath, to halak in Elohim (אלהים)'s Torah, which was given by Mosheh the eved of Elohim (אלהים), and to shomer and do all the mitzvot of YHWH (יהוה) our Adonay, and His mishpatim and His chukkim (statutes);
10:30 (10:31)And that we would not give our banot unto the people of the land, nor take their banot for our banim:
10:31(10:32) And [if] the people of the land bring ware or any victuals on the Yom Shabbat to sell, [that] we would not buy it of them on the Shabbat, or on the Yom kadosh: and [that] we would leave the seventh year, and the exaction of every debt.
10:32 (10:33)Also we made ordinances for us, to charge ourselves yearly with the third part of a shekel for the service of the beit our Elohim (אלהים);
10:33 (10:34) For the lechem Maareketh, and for the continual minchah, and for the continual olah, of the shabbatot, of the chodeshim, for the Moedim, and for the kadosh [things], and for the Chatta'ot to make an kapporah (atonement) for Yisrael, and [for] all the work of the beit our Elohim (אלהים).
10:34 (10:35) And we cast the lots among the Kohenim, the Leviim, and the people, for the Korban of etz, to bring [it] into the bayit our Elohim (אלהים), after the bayit of our fathers, at times appointed year by year, to burn upon the altar of YHWH (יהוה) our Elohim (אלהים), as [it is] written in the Torah: Lev.6:12-13
10:35 (10:36) And to bring the bikkur of our adamah, and the bikkurim of all pri of all Etz, year by year, unto the bayit YHWH:
10:36 (10:37) Also the bachor of our banim, and of our cattle, as [it is] written in Ha Torah, and the firstlings of our herds and of our flocks, to bring to the beit our Elohim (אלהים), unto the Kohenim that minister in the bayit (house) our Elohim (אלהים):
10:37 (10:38) And [that] we should bring the reshit arisoteinu (first of our dough), and our offerings, and the fruit of all manner of trees, of wine and of oil, unto the Kohenim, to the chambers of the beit our Elohim (אלהים); and ha ma'aser of our adamah unto the Leviim, that the same Leviim might have ha ma'aser in all the cities of our tillage.
10:38 (10:39) And the Kohen ben Aharon shall be with the Leviim, when the Leviim take tithes: and the Leviim shall bring up the ma'asar ha ma'aser unto the bayit our Elohim (אלהים), to the chambers, into the treasure bayit.
10:39 (10:40) For benai Yisrael and benai Levy shall bring the offering of the corn, of the new wine, and the oil, unto the chambers, where [are] the vessels of the sanctuary, and the Kohenim that minister, and the shoer (porter), and the singers: and we will not forsake the beit our Elohim (אלהים).
