The Pesach instituted.(1-20)

How we know if the month of Aviv is the beginning of New Year?

12:1

And YEHOVAH (יהוה) spake to Mosheh and Aharon in the land Mitzrayim, saying:

12:2 " This month shall be to you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.

10th Aviv Keep four day

12:3 Speak you to all the congregation of Yisrael, saying:

"In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of [their] fathers, a lamb for an house;

12:4 and if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbour next to his house take [it] according to the number of the souls; every man according to his eating shall make your count for the lamb.

12:5 Your lamb shall be tamim (without blemish), a male of the first year: you shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats:

12:6 And you shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Yisrael shall kill it in the evening.

12:7 And they shall take of the blood, and strike [it] on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it.

12:8 And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and Matzah; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it.

12:9 Do not eat it raw, nor boiled at all with water, but roast with fire; his head with his legs, and with the inwards thereof.

12:10 And you shall let nothing of it remain until the morning; and that which remains of it until the morning you shall burn with fire.

12:11 And thus shall you eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and you shall eat it in haste: it is YEHOVAH (יהוה)'S Pesach.

12:12 For I will pass through the land Mitzrayim this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land Mitzrayim, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Mitzrayim I will execute judgment: Ani YEHOVAH (יהוה).

12:13 And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where you are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy [you], when I smite the land Mitzrayim.

12:14 And this day shall be to you for a memorial; and you shall keep it a feast to YEHOVAH (יהוה) throughout your generations; you shall keep it a feast by an ordinance forever.

12:15 Seven days shall you eat Matzah; even the first day you shall put away chametz out of your houses: for whosoever eats the Chametz bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Yisrael.

12:16 And in the first day there shall be an Mikra kadosh, and in the seventh day there shall be an Mikra kadosh to you; no manner of work shall be done in them, save that which every man must eat, that only may be done of you.

12:17 And you shall observe the feast of Matzah; for in this selfsame day have I brought your armies out of the land Mitzrayim: therefore shall you observe this day in your generations by an ordinance forever.

14 Aviv

12:18 In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at even, you shall eat Matzah, until the one and twentieth day of the month at even.

12:19 Seven days shall there be no chametz found in your houses: for whosoever eateth that which is Chametz, even that soul shall be cut off from the congregation of Yisrael, whether he be a stranger, or born in the land.

12:20 You shall eat nothing Chametz; in all your habitations shall you eat Matzah.

12:21(v) Then Mosheh called for all the Ziknei of Yisrael, and said to them, Draw out and take you a lamb according to your families, and kill the Pesach.

12:22 And you shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip [it] in the blood that [is] in the bason, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that [is] in the bason; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning.

12:23 For YEHOVAH (יהוה) will pass through to smite the Mitzrites; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, YEHOVAH (יהוה) will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in to your houses to smite you.

12:24 And you shall observe this thing for an ordinance to you and to your sons for ever.

12:25 And it shall come to pass, when you be come to the land which YEHOVAH (יהוה) will give you, according as He has promised, that you shall keep this service.

12:26 And it shall come to pass, when your children shall say to you, What mean you by this service?

12:27 That you shall say, It is the sacrifice of YEHOVAH (יהוה)'S Pesach, who passed over the houses of benai Yisrael in Mitzrayim, when he smote the Mitzrites, and delivered our houses. And the people bowed the head and worshipped.

12:28 And Benai Yisrael went away, and did as YEHOVAH (יהוה) had commanded Mosheh and Aharon, so did they.

The death of the firstborn of the Mitzrites.

The Yisraelites urged to leave the land Mitzrayim. (29-36)

12:29 (vi) And it came to pass, that at midnight YEHOVAH (יהוה) smote all the firstborn in the land Mitzrayim, from the firstborn of Paroh that sat on his throne to the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle.

12:30 And Paroh rose up in the night, he, and all his servants, and all the Mitzrites; and there was a great cry in Mitzrayim; for there was not a house where there was not one dead.

12:31 And he called for Mosheh and Aharon by night, and said, Rise up, and get you forth from among My people, both you and Benai Yisrael; and go, serve YEHOVAH (יהוה), as you have said.

12:32 Also take your flocks and your herds, as you have said, and be gone; and bless me also.

12:33 And the Mitzrites were urgent upon the people, that they might send them out of the land in haste; for they said, We be all dead men.

12:34 And the people took their dough before it was Chametz, their kneading-troughs being bound up in their clothes upon their shoulders.

12:35 And Benai Yisrael did according to the word of Mosheh; and they borrowed of the Mitzrites jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment:

12:36 And YEHOVAH (יהוה) gave the people favour in the sight of the Mitzrites, so that they lent to them such things as they required. And they spoiled the Mitzrites.

The Yisraelites' first journey to Sukkot. (37-42)

12:37 And benai Yisrael journeyed from Rameses to Sukkot, about six hundred thousand on foot [that were] men, beside children.

12:38 And a mixed multitude went up also with them; and flocks, and herds, even very much cattle.

12:39 And they baked Matzah cakes of the dough which they brought forth out of Mitzrayim, for it was not Chametz; because they were thrust out of Mitzrayim, and could not tarry, neither had they prepared for themselves any victual.

12:40 Now the sojourning of benai  Yisrael, who dwelt in Mitzrayim, was four hundred and thirty years.

12:41 And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of YEHOVAH (יהוה) went out from the land Mitzrayim.

12:42 It is a night to be much observed to YEHOVAH (יהוה) for bringing them out from the land Mitzrayim: this is that night of YEHOVAH (יהוה) to be observed of all Benai Yisrael in their generations.

Ordinance respecting the Pesach. (43-51)

12:43 And YEHOVAH (יהוה) said to Mosheh and Aharon: This is the ordinance of the Pesach: There shall no stranger eat thereof:

12:44 But every man's servant that is bought for money, when you have circumcised him, then shall he eat thereof.

12:45 A foreigner and an hired servant shall not eat thereof.

12:46 In one house shall it be eaten; you shall not carry forth ought of the flesh abroad out of the house; neither shall you break a bone thereof.

12:47 All the congregation of Yisrael shall keep it.

12:48 And when a stranger shall sojourn with you, and will keep the Pesach to YEHOVAH (יהוה), let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof.

12:49 One you shall be to him that is homeborn, and to the stranger that sojourneth among you.

12:50 Thus did all benai Yisrael; as YEHOVAH (יהוה) commanded Mosheh and Aharon, so did they.

12:51 And it came to pass the selfsame day, that YEHOVAH (יהוה) did bring benai Yisrael out of the land Mitzrayim by their armies.

What is Yeast?

(yeast) - Yeast is alive! It is a microscopic, single-cell organism that, as it grows and ferments, produces alcohol and carbon dioxide. The carbon dioxide bubbles get trapped in the gluten strands of bread, causing it to rise. The most commonly available form is active dry yeast; the tiny organisms are dehydrated, and therefore dormant due to the lack of moisture. Yeast should be "proofed" (or "activated") in water heated to approximately 110 degrees F. Yeast is a fungus, a member of the plant family. Yeast exists on plants, in the air, in soil, and in and on humans and animals. Yeast metabolize simple sugars and produce alcohol and carbon dioxide through the process of fermentation. Different strains of yeast are used for different processes, such as brewing and dough-rising.

What is unleaven? The word which describes any baked good that has no chametzer, such as yeast, baking powder, or baking soda. Barley is also a staple food, but its worth is often unrecognized or undervalued. The omer offered between Pesach and Shavuot was a measure of barley,

Matzah hccm . It is anything which is fermented or Chametz (uneven illgotten wealth). The normal process of making bread included some form of yeast to make the bread rise i.e the natural fementation of benign bacteria. During the Pesach no one was allowed to eat chametz bread (Ex 12: 15, 13:3,7) Matzah signified the suddenness of the deliverance of theYisrael by Elohim (Deut 16:3) . Ordinary Chametz bread was prohibited on other occassions but allowable under certain circumstances (Lev 7:13; 23:17, Amos 4:5). It later became a symbol of corruption and impurity in the Jewish religious system (Matt 16:12, Mark 8:15 1 Cor 5:8 The Hebrew word hametz is translated as Chametz bread and refers to food prepared from five species of grain--wheat, barley, oats, spelt, and rye--that has been allowed to chametz. _(Hebrew: yetzer ha-ra)   According to rabbinic psychology, each person is driven by both a GOOD INCLINATION (yetzer ha-tov) and an evil inclination (yetzer ha-ra).

ANI YEHOVAH (יהוה), I AM YEHOVAH (יהוה)

chametz - Chametz is any food product derived of wheat (Hittah), barley (se'orah), rye, oats, spelt or its derivative.
