The Incense Mizbeach (מזבּח Altar)
30:1(vii) And thou shalt make an Mizbeach (מזבּח Altar) to burn ketoreth (incense) upon: [of] Shittiyim (acacia שׁטּים) wood shalt thou make it.
30:2 A cubit (אמּה) [shall be] the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof; foursquare shall it be: and two cubits [shall be] the height thereof: the horns thereof [shall be] of the same.
30:3 And thou shalt overlay it with pure zahav (זהב), the top thereof, and the sides thereof round about, and the horns thereof; and thou shalt make unto it a crown of zahav (זהב) round about.
30:4 And two zahav (זהב) rings shalt thou make to it under the crown of it, by the two corners thereof, upon the two sides of it shalt thou make [it]; and they shall be for places for the staves to bear it withal.
30:5 And thou shalt make the staves [of] Shittiyim (acacia שׁטּים) wood, and overlay them with zahav (זהב).
30:6 And thou shalt put it before the poreketh (פּרכvail) that [is] by the Aron Ha Edut (Ark of testimony), before the kapporet that [is] over the edut (testimony), where I will meet with thee.
30:7 And Aharon shall burn thereon sweet ketoreth (incense) every morning: when he dresseth the lamps, he shall burn ketoreth (incense) upon it.
30:8(Maftir) And when Aharon lighteth the lamps at even, he shall burn ketoreth (incense) upon it, a perpetual ketoreth (incense) before YHWH (יהוה) throughout your dorot (generations).
30:9 Ye shall offer no strange ketoreth (incense) thereon, nor burnt sacrifice, nor Mincha; neither shall ye pour nesek (נסך libation, drink offering) thereon.
30:10 And Aharon shall make an kapporah (atonement) upon the karenot (horns) of it once in a year with the blood of the chattat ha Kippurim (atonements): once in the year shall he make kapporah (atonement) upon it throughout your dorot (generations): it [is] most kadosh unto YHWH (יהוה).
30:11 And YHWH (יהוה) spake unto Mosheh, saying,

30:12 When thou takest the sum of the benai Yisrael after their number, then shall they give every man a ransom (kopher) for his nefesh unto YHWH (יהוה), when thou numberest them; that there be no plague among them, when [thou] numberest them.
30:13 This they shall give, every one that passeth among them that are numbered, half a shekel after the shekel of ha Mikdash: (a shekel [is] twenty gerahs:) an half shekel [shall be] the offering of YHWH (יהוה).
30:14 Every one that passeth among them that are numbered, from twenty years old and above, shall give an offering unto YHWH (יהוה).
30:15 The rich shall not give more, and the poor shall not give less than half a shekel, when [they] give an offering unto YHWH (יהוה), to make an kapporah (atonement) for your souls.
30:16 And thou shalt take the kapporah (atonement) money of the benai Yisrael, and shalt appoint it for the service of the Ohel Moed (tent of meeting); that it may be a memorial unto the benai Yisrael before YHWH (יהוה), to make an kapporah (atonement) for your souls.
30:17 And YHWH (יהוה) spake unto Mosheh, saying,
The Laver Kiyor (כּיּור)

30:18 Thou shalt also make a Kiyor (כּיּור) [of] nechoshet (כּיּור brass), and his foot [also of] nechoshet (brass), to wash [withal]: and thou shalt put it between the Ohel Moed (tent of meeting) and the Mizbeach (מזבּח Altar), and thou shalt put mayim therein.
30:19 For Aharon and his banim shall wash their hands and their feet thereat:
30:20 When they go into the Ohel Moed (tent of meeting), they shall wash with mayim, that they die not; or when they come near to the Mizbeach (מזבּח Altar) to minister, to burn offering made by fire unto YHWH (יהוה):
30:21 So they shall wash their hands and their feet, that they die not: and it shall be a statute for ever to them, [even] to him and to his seed throughout their dorot (generations).
30:22 Moreover YHWH (יהוה) spake unto Mosheh, saying,
Oil in the Scripture is often a type of the Ruach HaKodesh. The anointing of the Kohenim signifies the necessity for enduement of the Ruach in all divine Service.
30:23 Take thou also unto thee principal spices, of pure myrrh five hundred [shekels], and of sweet Kinnamon (קנּמון cinnamon) half so much, [even] two hundred and fifty [shekels], and of sweet calamus two hundred and fifty [shekels],
30:24 And of Kiddah (קדּה cassia) five hundred [shekels], after the shekel of ha Mikdash, and of shemen olive an hin (הין):
30:25 And thou shalt make it an shemen of kadosh ointment, an ointment compound after the art of the perfumer (oinment): it shall be an kadosh mashach (anoint משׁח) shemen.
30:26 And thou shalt mashach (anoint משׁח) the Ohel Moed (tent of meeting) therewith, and the Aron Ha Edut (Ark of testimony),
30:27 And the table and all his vessels, and the menorah (מנרה) and his vessels, and the mizbeach Ketoret,
30:28 And the Mizbeach (מזבּח Altar) of Olah with all his vessels, and the laver and his foot.
30:29 And thou shalt sanctify them, that they may be most kadosh: whatsoever toucheth them shall be kadosh.
30:30 And thou shalt mashach (anoint משׁח) Aharon and his banim, and consecrate them, that [they] may minister unto Me in the Kohen's office.
30:31 And thou shalt speak unto the benai Yisrael, saying, This shall be an kadosh mishchat (anointing משׁח) shemen unto Me throughout your dorot (generations).
30:32 Upon man's flesh shall it not be poured, neither shall ye make [any other] like it, after the composition of it: it [is] kadosh, [and] it shall be kadosh unto you.
30:33 Whosoever compoundeth [any] like it, or whosoever putteth [any] of it upon a stranger, shall even be cut off from his people.
30:34 And YHWH (יהוה) said unto Mosheh, Take unto thee sweet spices, nataf (נטף stacte), and Shekleth (שׁחלת , onycha), and Chelvenah (חלבּנה galbanum); [these] sweet spices with pure lebonah (לבנה frankincense): of each shall there be a like [weight]:
30:35 And thou shalt make it a perfume, a confection after the art of the perfumer, tempered together, pure [and] kadosh:
30:36 And thou shalt beat [some] of it very small, and put of it before the edut (testimony) in the Ohel Moed (tent of meeting), where I will meet with thee: it shall be unto you most kadosh.
30:37 And [as for] the perfume which thou shalt make, ye shall not make to yourselves according to the composition thereof: it shall be unto thee kadosh for YHWH (יהוה).
30:38 Whosoever shall make like unto that, to smell thereto, shall even be cut off from his people.
