HaShem is in Control

A Psalm of Asaf

82:1 Elohim (אלהים) stands in the edah (assembly) of EL; He judges among the elohim

82:2 How long will you judge unjustly And show partiality to the wicked? Selah.

82:3 Give justice to the poor and orphan: do justice to the afflicted and the needy.

82:4 Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.

82:5 They have neither knowledge nor understanding, they walk about in darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken.

82:6 I said, "You are elohim, And all of you are sons of the Most High.

82:7"Nevertheless you will die like men And fall like any one of the princes."

82:8 Kum (Arise), O Elohim (אלהים), judge the earth, For You shall possess all nations.

Which is why we are to submit to the rule of the authority over us and not only do we submit we are taught in the scripture in 1 Timothy 2;2 2:2for rulers, and for everyone who has authority over us.
