From:To: Hebraic Heritage Newsgroup ; Hebraic Heritage Newsgroup 2 ; Hebraic Heritage Newsgroup 3 Subject: Passover Seders - (Part 2 of 2) Date: Saturday, 15 April, 2000 15:09 From: Eddie Chumney To : heb_roots_chr@hebroots.org Subject: Passover Seder info (PART 2 of 2) Dear Mishpochah (family): The Hebraic heritage newsgroup was birthed in November 1996. One of the purposes of the newsgroup and the ministry is to teach and encourage believers in Yeshua/Jesus as Messiah to celebrate the Biblical Festivals. For this reason, the G-d of Israel encouraged me to write my first book, "The Seven Festivals of the Messiah" to teach believers in Yeshua/Jesus as Messiah the importance of the Festivals to believers in Yeshua/Jesus as Messiah. When Passover came in 1997, the newsgroup sent out articles encouraging believers to celebrate Passover while showing the pagan origins of Easter. It seemed that at that time, most members of the newsgroup were still LEARNING about the importance of the Biblical Festivals and the Passover. When I sent out the last newsgroup e-mail, I asked for our members to send me the date, time and location of the Passover Seder celebration that you were having in your local area. I was AMAZED at the response and the GREAT NUMBER of those on the newsgroup who are going to be celebrating Passover this year through having a Passover Seder. Baruch HaShem! It is a rather regular occurance that I get e-mail notes from our members asking to find a local fellowship in their area. For those of you who are "lost sheep", this is your chance to review all the Passover Seder's submitted by our newsgroup members and attend one in your area if you do not already have plans to do so. This is a GREAT WAY to find others in your area who have a heart for Israel, the Jewish people and who desire to celebrate the Biblical Festivals. If there are newsgroup members who do decide to attend a Passover Seder in your local area from contacts that were made from the newsgroup and this newsgroup posting OR if you will be celebrating your very first Passover Seder this year and it was a blessing to your faith in Yeshua/Jesus as Messiah, will you submit a testimony to the newsgroup e-mail address (heb_roots_chr@hebroots.org) when the Passover Season is completed to help encourage other believers in Yeshua/Jesus as Messiah to celebrate the Passover and the other Biblical Festivals in the future? NEXT YEAR IN JERUSALEM! A traditional Passover Seder will be presented by Grafted-In Ministries on the last night of Passover, April 26th at 6PM at the Sequim Bible Church at 847 N. Sequim Ave. Unlike some "abbreviated" versions, this will be a full sit-down dinner and all are invited. Families especially are encouraged. Each week students learn scriptural principles that will profoundly increase their understanding and application of Scripture. HaYesod is a highly acclaimed well-organized program from First Fruits of Zion; a ministry made up of Jewish and grafted-in non-Jewish believers in the Messiah Yeshua (whom some call Jesus the Christ) that's based in Jerusalem,. "...all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Torah and the Prophets, and the Psalms concerning Me." Luke 24:44 Yeshua stated that every word written in the Torah pointed toward and spoke of Him. Is the Lord preparing in these last days a remnant people who will walk and live according to His commandments? We believe that He is. Inspired by the Ruach haKodesh, many who are redeemed by the blood of the Messiah have begun to feel an overwhelming desire to return to the biblically observant life-style founded in the Torah. Why? The Scriptures say, "Now it will come about that in the last days... many people will come and say, 'Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; that He may teach us concerning His ways, and that we may walk in His paths.' For the Torah will go forth from Zion, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem." (Isaiah 2:2-3) Many people from all walks of faith are heeding the call of the Spirit to enter into the pure faith established thousands of years ago. This is a faith unadulterated by the traditions of man, in which Jew and non-Jew can worship together as one; a true Messianic faith as recorded in the Book of Acts and now put into practice in the 20th century. People gain a fuller understanding of their faith and enter into a deeper understanding of the teachings of Yeshua and the writings of Paul in their cultural and historical context Bill and Jo Kuhlmeyer,List Servants: www.graftedin2Torah.org/ ******************************************************************** To: heb_roots_chr@hebroots.org From: Subject: Messianic Passover Info. Dear Eddie: I just LOVE all your teaching and I am very grateful to the Lord for people who can help me on my spiritual journey. I believe that every sincere seeker is on a journey from Jerusalem to Jerusalem. The diversion to Rome reminds me of the Israelites in the wilderness, almost inevitable but totally unnessessary, if we don't realise that it is not the planned destination. Thank you Eddie for helping me to become re-directed. I never liked Rome but needed someone to point me in the direction of Jerusalem. Your teaching materials have hastened my journey. I will be conducting a couple of Passover dinners and demonstrations this year and would love your material. Isn't the Lord good. May Y'Shua bless you brother and all your family this Passover and may you continue to be used to feed the lambs and the sheep. Shalom from Queensland Australia. I really believe that the Lord wants to encourage you at this time. Mrs. Gloria Power. "Tishrei" Via Woodford 4514 Qld. Australia. We have built the Tabernacle of Moses to scale and preform a production of "The Tabernacle - How to come into the presence of the Lord." Our last production in Tulsa, had over 2,000 people attend. We also have provided much written drama and teaching materials to those who wish to give a indepth look and understanding of God's plan for each individual for freedom and redemption through the foundation of Jewish Roots. I believe God wants us to be free to worship him, to be intimate with Him, to kill man-made rituals and replace it with heart-filled love and worship for the ONLY TRUE AND FAITHFUL GOD OF ISRAEL. How much we miss! How much we let go or don't enter into with God because of our man-made fears and deceptions. Anyone who is interested in learning more our service to churches, organizations, families, and the Jewish people may contact us at shofar@wans.net.
