HOW DO YOU COUNT THE OMER ?
Days and Weeks of the Omer are Counted
For Days:
"Today is one day of the Omer"
For Weeks:
"Today is seven days which are one week of the Omer"
For Days and Weeks:
"Today is twenty-six days which are three weeks and five days of the Omer"
The fiftieth day is Shavuot.
It is a custom that following the counting of the omer, you read Psalm 67. IS A PRAYER FOR THE MESSIANIC ERA?
According to rabbinic tradition the association is that this psalm has forty-nine words which corresponds to the seven complete weeks (49 days) of the counting of the omer.

How to Wave the Two loaves of Challah
Sowing in the morning, sowing seeds of kindness,
Sowing in the sunshine, sowing in the shadows,
Fearing neither clouds nor winter's chilling breeze;
By and by the harvest, and the labor ended,
We shall come rejoicing, bringing in the sheaves.
Going forth with weeping, sowing for the Master,
Though the loss sustained our spirit often grieves;
When our weeping?s over, He will bid us welcome,
We shall come rejoicing, bringing in the sheaves.

WEDDING HALL TRAGEDY
On Thursday night was a very popular night to go out (Yom Shishi is a day off in Israel) and Talpiot has many malls, movie theaters, and wedding halls. it was not a terrorist attack. However, it was no less a tragedy. About 22:45 Hrs that night (May 24th), it was the worst building disaster of its kind in Israel, the Versailles Wedding Hall, packed with 700 guests, collapsed with everyone inside. The reception was on the third floor of the hall, where revelers were dancing after the ceremony. Among those
injured was the bride, who was standing with the groom in the center of the circle of dancers. They fell together when the floor collapsed, plummeting the entire wedding party down into the basement as each floor pancaked down upon the other. The bride was injured in the head and limbs and her groom was unhurt. The father of the bride, Haim Yosef, was lightly hurt in the leg. Over 300 were injured and the death toll, currently at 30 (with
50 still missing), is sure to go up as the workers continue removing the steel-reinforced concrete floors that are now stacked upon one another. Fortunately, on that night, there was only one wedding on the top floor, which minimized the death and injury. Most of the wedding party ended up on top of the rubble, instead of in between
the rubble, which would have been the case for those on a lower floor.
. Pray that God will guide the rescuers to any remaining alive. We also grieve for those who have lost family members. Pray that God will comfort them and give them peace in their hearts. Pray for healing for the injured."The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Isaiah 34:18). news report from www.bridgesforpeace.com
