(I) It refers to circumcision or cutting off the foreskin (Yochanan 7:22-23; Acts 7:8; Romans 4:11; Galates 5:11; Philippians 3:5; Beresheet 17:13; Shemot 4:25-26; Jer 11:16). Messianic Believers separated from the unclean multitude and truly consecrated to Hashem, the extinction of passions and the removal of spiritual impurity
Circumcision is the removal of some or all of the foreskin (prepuce) from the penis. The word "circumcision" comes from Latin circum (meaning "around") and cædere (meaning "to cut").Circumcision for Goyim (Gentile)
In 1 Korintos 7:17-19 Rav Shaul teaches that for a person already in the Brit Milah (circumcised) when called (to receive Mashiach Yeshua) should not seek to restore the fore-skin which becomes like a non-Jew or Gentile, live a lifestyle like a uncircumcised or should not to forsake the Torah teaching. In simple understand is that if you are a circumcised Jew when received the new birth in Yeshua, he should not be afraid to identify as a Jew but to live on with his Jewish family. Do not forego your Jewishness.
The uncircumcised ones (Gentiles) when called (at the time received Mashiach Yeshua - born again). he does not have to seek to hide his gentile background by taking on the marks of circumcision. .They should not aspire to be a circumcised ones as though it's a requirement or compel to be circumcise for Salvation or any form wrong motive to gain favour or entry to Kingdom of YAH. Each one should remain in the condition in which he was being called (to Salvation). Salvation is unconditional "come Just as you are, whatever your status are at the point of your called". Circumcision does not mean any thing to you It is more important to keep the Elohim's commandment and have true circumcision of the heart - teshuvah.
Romaios 2:29 But a Yehudite is he who is so inwardly, and circumcision is that of the heart, in Spirit, not literally, whose praise is not from men but from Elohim.-: 2nd Korinthos 7:19, Shemot 19:5, Devarim 10:12-16, Devarim 30:6-8.
Circumcision for the Yehudim is considered more important than any other commandment. Therefore Circumcision is allow to carry out on Shabbat, or on Yom Kippur. Circumcision of the flesh of the foreskin are for the Yisraelites.
As for Non-Jews males Believers are
not encourage to rush for circumcision as is not be compulsary unless they
have understood above situation. One must be done decently
and in order of faith because once the token or seal is received that Yisrael is pledged
to full and immediate compliance which can become so frustrating, discouraging
that new in faith can give up, deviate into denying Yeshua and fall away from
However for those, have the testimony of Yeshua; are already circumcised in heart, indwelting of the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit), mikveh mayim (immersion), already submissive to the Torah of Elohim may choose voluntary circumcision in flesh or remain as uncircumcised.

New in faith Believers are required to at least maintain the instruction basic command in Acts 15:20 and eventually walk in the knowledge of the Torah through the given grace of Yeshua.
Circumcision are commandment found in the Torah teaching it is not the basis of Salvation. Circumcison of the flesh cannot save you. It is for the purpose to establish Avrahamic Covenant. Salvation by put your faith in the redemption work of Mashiach Yeshua alone is sufficient.
Messianic Non-Jews believers
Circumcision of the heart (type seen in Brazen Alter) most require and evidence of a believer being Saved by faith in accepting the Yeshua's redemptive work. The foreskin of the heart; specifically means, "a barrier to holiness" i.e. lust. This barrier is what Acts 2:38 removes! It is cutting off our old nature (carnal flesh), Romans 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against Elohim: for it is not submissive to the Torah of Elohim, neither indeed can be" and we must be filled with Ruach Hakodesh and walk a consecrated lifestyle in Moshiach.
Romans 2:2 For circumcision verily profiteth, if thou Shomer the Torah but if thou be a breaker of the Torah, thy circumcision is made uncircumcision.
Hatafat dam brit (heb. דם ברית "Drop of the blood [of the] Covenant") refers to the fulfillment of the mitzvah of a brit milah. Also known as " Second circumcision or ceremonial circumcision.
This type of circumcision are for those born "circumcised, by natural birth or those circumcise due to other faith practice or already circumcise due to medical reasons which not yet speak forth the Brit Milah blessing.
However to those who have come to faith have make teshuvah in Yeshua, regenerated soul, having the indwelting of Ruach HaKodesh and mikvah in the Name of Yeshua, those who desire to come into renewal Covenant of Avraham although they have already circumcise then they need to do the mohel draws a symbolic drop of blood from the penis that blood droplet represents the sign of the Brit, it is quick and relatively painless. This procedure known as Hatafat Dam Brit is followed by the recital of the regular Brit blessing.

The mohel is a specialist who is able to execute the procedure as efficiently as any surgeon.Any qualified Yehudim Mohel who is proficient at the surgical procedure and is able to recite the approciate blessings may perform the circumcision.

If the father is able to perform the circumcision, it is his duty to do so; he is not permitted to delegate the function to anyone else. We can see Avram circumcises himself. Whoever draws the blood must be a Jew, ideally knowledgeable enough to recite the Hebrew blessings. If not, a rabbi may recite them.
Why circumcise an infant newborn on the eighth day?
Studies showed that by the eighth day, prothrombin levels reach 110 percent of normal. The major clotting agents, prothrombin and vitamin K, do not reach peak levels in the blood until the eighth day of life. Prothrombin levels are normal at birth, drop to very low levels in the next few days, and return to normal at the end of the first week.
There are some condition when a newborn is not in perfect health or was born prematurely, the circumcision is postponed until the newborn is in good health and fit for circumcision. The most important fact is that the newborn must be absolutely no danger to the person. After his recovery is considered to be his day of birth (Yevamot 88) seven days after on the eigth day circumcision.
Yehudim for some reason was not circumcised as newborn are obligated to be circumcised. Don't be deceive and despise the blood covenant, a Boy who from Jewish descendant when he is not circumcised lost his spiritual attachment or the scripture says "cut off from the Jewish people, means he loss his precious Hashem's given heritage. Non-Jews who is the stranger who desires to be convert to Judaism are also required to be circumcised.
During the circumcision ceremony, a chair is placed next to the seat reserved for the sandek. This chair, which remains unoccupied, is reserved for Ha Navi Eliyahu, who according to tradition attends every brit to protect every infant from danger. In some places the Chair of Eliyahu is mounted on the high wall to prevent other people to sit on it. The vacant Chair is also applied to Pesach and Sukkot

The First Passover
Theresa
Nov 20, 2007
Shalom Dear Brothers and Sisters The First Passover In Joshua chapter 5 the Israelite children crossed over the Jordan River. This was a new generation, they had heard of the great fame and the miracles their God had done for them. They had watched their fathers die in the wilderness because of their disobedience. They knew Moses and now they were left to follow Joshua, they had never known anything except Manna yet their hearts were set on obedience. Even though their fathers had been circumcised after they crossed the Red Sea their hearts were not and they were disobedient and grumbled and complained so they never got to even see the promised land. Now this generation had not been yet circumcised physically so this was the first task that Joshua had to do every male who had been born in the wilderness and was of age ready to fight needed to be circumcised. They never questioned Joshua or God as to why this was necessary they put their trust in their God. They entered into the land and crossed through the Jordan River on dryland picking up the stones and making an alter, one rock for each tribe as a tribute to the Lord God and reminder for the people that God had brought them through again keeping His promises to their forefathers. After they did all of this, for the first time they ate the produce of the land and the grain. This was the end of the Manna, no more would God have to feed them from heaven. How strange it must have been to taste real grain and to celebrate the first Passover as commanded by God through Moses. I know when we celebrate Passover we forget about this Scripture, this year I will surely remember it. I remember when I was in ICU I had been sick for a week and a half before I had the stroke and been unable to eat anything. When I got my ability to swallow back, because I had lost that to, I remember how good cold water tasted after 14 weeks. I remember how strong food tasted after not eating for so long. So I can imagine the Israelite children probably didn't have a large meal the first Passover this was the first time they had eaten anything other than Manna. This was the first year they ate the produce of the land. They were true to God's word and obedient, how pleased the Father must have been watching His children celebrating the first Passover and eating the produce from the land giving thanks. How for the first time they did not argue against Joshua but obediently circumcised their flesh so that they would be set apart as the children of God. Winter has just started but in a few weeks we will celebrate the feast of dedication. For those who are circumcised in the flesh that is wonderful but more importantly God wants our hearts to be circumcised! Winter is a time when everything seems to die. Some things do die, some things going to dormancy, I think winter is a good time for us to lay our hearts open before the Lord and I asked him what needs to die in our lives so that He might plant things that will produce fruit in the spring! We need to lay our hearts open and allow God to circumcised them it is the only way He can write His Torah on our hearts B'Shem Yeshua Hamashiach, Amen In His Love, Theresa If you need counseling, go to www.cometozion.org/ctzcounseling.html right now.
