11:1 And when they came nigh to Yerushalayim, to Beit-Pagey and Beit-Anyah, at the mount of Olives, he sendeth forth two of His Talmidim,

11:2 And said to them:

Go your way into the village over against you: and as soon as you be entered into it, you shall find a colt tied, whereon never man sat; loose him, and bring [him].

11:3 And if any man say to you, Why do you this? say you that Master hath need of him; and straightway he will send him hither.

11:4 And they went their way, and found the colt tied by the door wiyout in a place where two ways met; and they loose him.

11:5 And certain of them that stood there said to them, What do you, loosing the colt?

11:6 And they said to them even as Yehoshua  (יהושע) had commanded: and they let them go.

11:7 And they brought the colt to Yehoshua  (יהושע), and cast their garments on him; and he sat upon him.

11:8 And many spread their garments in the way: and others cut down branches off the trees, and strawed [them] in the way.

11:9 And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, saying:

Hoshia-na! "Baruch habah B'Shem YHWH (יהוה):"

11:10 Berakhah Malkut David ha avenu, that cometh in the Name YHWH (יהוה):

Hoshia-na in the highest.

11:11 And Yehoshua  (יהושע) entered into Yerushalayim, and into the Heikhal: and when he had looked round about upon all things, and now the eventide was come, He went out to Beit-Anyah with the twelve.

11:12 And on the morrow, when they were come from Beit-Anyah, he was hungry:

11:13 And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not [yet].

11:14 And Yehoshua  (יהושע) answered and said to it:

No man eat fruit of you hereafter for ever. And His Talmidim heard [it].

11:15 And they come to Yerushalayim: and Yehoshua  (יהושע) went into the Heikhal, and began to cast out them that sold and bought in the Heikhal, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves;

11:16 And would not suffer that any man should carry [any] vessel through the Heikhal.

11:17 And He was teaching Torah, saying to them,

Is it not written:

"Ki veiti Beit-Tefilah yikare lekhol-haamim:?

But you have made it a den of thieves.

11:18 And the Sofrim and Rashei Hakohanim heard [it], and sought how they might destroy him: for they feared him, because all the people was astonished at his teaching.

11:19 And when even was come, he went out of the city.

11:20 And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.

11:21 And Kefa calling to remembrance said to him, Master, behold, the fig tree which you cursedst is withered away.

11:22 And Yehoshua  (יהושע) answering said to them, Have faith in Elohim.

11:23 For truly I say to you:

That whosoever shall say to this mountain, Be you removed, and be you cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he said shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he said.

11:24 Therefore I say to you, What things soever you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive [them], and you shall have [them].

11:25 And when you stand praying (Amidah prayer), if you have anything against anyone, forgive him: that  your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

11:26 But if you do not forgive, neither will yavenu which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

11:27 And they come again to Yerushalayim: and as he was walking in the Heikhal, there come to him the Rashei Hakohanim , and the Sofrim, and the Zekenim,

11:28 And say to him, By what authority doest you these things? and who gave you this authority to do these things?

11:29 And Yehoshua  (יהושע) answered and said to them:

"I will also ask of you one question, and answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things. "

11:30 The immersion of Yochanan, was [it] from heaven, or of men? answer me.

11:31 And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then did you not believe him?

11:32 But if we shall say, Of men; they feared the people: for all [men] counted Yochanan, that he was a Navi indeed.

11:33 And they answered and said to Yehoshua  (יהושע), We cannot tell.

And Yehoshua  (יהושע) answering said to them:

"Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things."
