5:1 Thus all the work that Sh'lomo (שׁלמה) made for Beit YHWH (יהוה) was finished: and Sh'lomo (שׁלמה) brought in [all] the things that David Aviv had kadshei (קדשׁי dedicated); and the kesef, and the zahav, and all the instruments, put he among the treasures of Beit Elohim (אלהים).
5:2 Then Sh'lomo (שׁלמה) assembled the Ziknei (elders) Yisra'el, and all the heads of the tribes, Rashei ha Avot benai Yisra'el, unto Yerushalayim, to bring up the Aron ha Brit (Ark of the Covenant) YHWH (יהוה) out of the city of David, which [is] Tziyon.
5:3 Wherefore all the men of Yisra'el assembled themselves unto the melekh in the feast which [was] in the seventh month.
5:4 And all the Ziknei (elders) Yisra'el came; and the Leviim took up the ark.
5:5 And they brought up the ark, and the Ohel Mo'ed, and all the kadosh vessels that [were] in the tabernacle, these did the Kohanim [and] the Leviim bring up.
5:6 Also melekh Sh'lomo (שׁלמה), and all the congregation of Yisra'el that were assembled unto him before the ark, zevach (sacrifice)d sheep and oxen, which could not be told nor numbered for multitude.
5:7 And the Kohanim brought in the Aron Brit (Ark of the Covenant) YHWH (יהוה) unto his place, to the devir (oracle) of Ha Beit, into the most kadosh [place, even] under the wings of the keruvim:
5:8 For the keruvim spread forth [their] wings over the place of the ark, and the keruvim covered the ark and al-badav thereof above.
5:9 And they drew out al-badav (the staves) [of the ark], that the ends of al-badav were seen from the ark before the devir (oracle); but they were not seen without. And there it is unto this day.
5:10 [There was] nothing in the ark save the two tables which Mosheh put [therein] at Horev, when YHWH (יהוה) made [a covenant] with benai Yisra'el, when they came out of Mitzrayim. Deut 10:2-5; Heb 9:4
5:11 And it came to pass, when the Kohanim were come out of the kadosh [place]: (for all the Kohanim [that were] present were sanctified, [and] did not [then] wait by course:
5:12 Also the Leviim [which were] the meshorarim, all of them of Asaph, of Heman, of Yedutun, with their banim and their brethren, [being] arrayed in white linen, having cymbals and nevelim (lyres) and kinnorot (harps), stood at the east end of the altar, and with them an hundred and twenty Kohanim sounding with khatzotzrot (trumpets):
5:13 It came even to pass, as the khatztsrim (trumpeters) and shorarim (meshorarim) [were] as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking YHWH (יהוה); and when they lifted up [their] voice with the khatzotzrot (trumpets) and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised YHWH (יהוה), [saying]:
For [he is] good; for his mercy [endureth] for ever:
Ki Tov ki l'olam chasdo that [then] Ha Beit was filled with a cloud, [even] Beit YHWH (יהוה);
5:14 So that the Kohanim could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the kavod YHWH (יהוה) had filled Beit Elohim (אלהים).
