For the choir director on el-haNechilot אל־הנחילות; accompaniment. A Psalm of David.

A Tefillah for Protection
Talk and Walk; When beset by enemies, pray for deliverance, not merely to alleviate physical suffering, but to be free to serve YAH without distraction. A special instruction to use Nechilot wind musical instrument that make sound like humming Flight of the Bumblebee

5:1 Give ear to my words, O ADONAI (יהוה), consider my meditation.

5:2 Hearken to the voice of my cry, my Melekh, and my Elohim (אלהים): for to you will I pray.

5:3 My voice shall you hear in the morning, O ADONAI (יהוה); in the morning will I direct [my tefillah] to you, and will look up.

5:4 For you [art] not a Elohim (אלהים) that has pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with you.

5:5 The foolish shall not stand in your sight: you hates all workers of iniquity.

5:6 You shall destroy them that speak leasing: the ADONAI (יהוה) will abhor the bloody and deceitful man.

5:7 But as for me, I will come [into] your house in the multitude of your mercy: [and] in your fear will I bow down toward your Heikhal Kodesh.

5:8 Lead me, O ADONAI (יהוה), in your tzedakah because of mine adversaries; make your way straight before my face.

5:9 For [there is] no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part [is] very wickedness; their throat [is] an open grave; they flatter with their tongue.

5:10 Destroy you them, O Elohim (אלהים); let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against you.

5:11 But let all those that put their trust in you rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because you defendest them: let them also that love your name be joyful in you.

5:12 For you, ADONAI (יהוה), will bless the tzaddik; with favour will you compass him as [with] a shield.
