32:1אשׁרי נשׂוי־פשׁע כסוי חטאה׃
Ashrei nesui-pesha kesui chataah:
Happy is he whose transgression is forgiven, Whose sin is covered.
32:2 אשׁרי אדם לא יחשׁב יהוה לו עון ואין ברוחו רמיה׃
Ashrei adam lo yakhshov ADONAI lo avon veein berucho remiyah:
Happy is the man to whom ADONAI (יהוה) does not impute iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no deceit.
32:3 כי־החרשׁתי בלו עצמי בשׁאגתי כל־היום׃
Ki-hekherashti balu atzamai beshaagati kol-hayom:
When I kept silent, my bones grew oldThrough my groaning all the day long.
32:4 כי יומם ולילה תכבד עלי ידך נהפך לשׁדי בחרבני קיץ סלה:
Ki yomam valailah tikhbad alai yadekha nehpakh leshadi bekharvonei kayitz Selah:
For day and night Your hand was heavy upon me; My vitality was turned into the drought of summer. Selah
32:5 חטאתי אודיעך ועוני לא־כסיתי אמרתי אודה עלי פשׁעי ליהוה ואתה נשׂאת עון חטאתי סלה׃
Chatati odiakha vaavoni lo-khisiti amarti odeh alei feshaai laADONAI veatah nasata avon chatati Selah:
I acknowledged my sin to You, And my iniquity I have not hidden. I said, "I will confess my transgressions to ADONAI (יהוה)," And You forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah
32:6 על־זאת יתפלל כל־חסיד אליך לעת מצא רק לשׁטף מים רבים אליו לא יגיעו׃
Al-zot yitpalel kol-chasid eleikha leet metzo rak leshetef mayim rabim elav lo yagiu:
For this cause everyone who is pious shallpray to You In a time when You may be found; Surely in a flood of great waters They shall not come near him.
32:7 אתה סתר לי מצר תצרני רני פלט תסובבני סלה׃
Atah seter li mitzar titzreni ranei falet tesovveni Selah:
You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from trouble; You shall surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah.
32:8 אשׂכילך ואורך בדרך־זו תלך איעצה עליך עיני׃
Askilkha veorkha bederekh-zu telekh iatzah aleikha eini:
I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.
32:9 אל־תהיו כסוס כפרד אין הבין במתג־ורסן עדיו לבלום בל קרב אליך׃
Al-tihyu kesus kefered ein havin bemeteg-varesen edyo livlom bal kerov eleikha:
Do not be like the horse or like the mule, Which have no understanding, Which must be harnessed with bit and bridle, Else they will not come near you.
32:10 רבים מכאובים לרשׁע והבוטח ביהוה חסד יסובבנו׃
Rabim makhovim larasha vehaboteach baADONAI chesed yesovvenu:
Many sorrows shall be to the wicked; But hewho trusts in ADONAI (יהוה), mercy shall surround him.
32:11שׂמחו ביהוה וגילו צדיקים והרנינו כל־ישׁרי־לב׃
Simchu vaADONAI vegilu tzadikim veharninu kol-yishrei-lev:
Be glad in ADONAI (יהוה) and rejoice, you righteous; And shout for joy, all you upright in heart!

What is Sin? is – vs 1, 2
Many words use in the Tenakh to describe sin.
Transgression – defiance 1 Yochanan 3:4 Hebrew word – Pesha – action transgression rebellion against individual, nation Elohim. Brit Hadashah anomia without law against law, lawlessness.
Sin - defect Hebrew – Chattah sin / sin offering, to miss the way / mark.
Iniquity – distortion – Hebrew - avon moral aspects – perversity depravity crooked. Brit Hadashah Paranomia – against the Torah
Guile – deception deceit Hebrew remiyah – treachery deceit Brit Hadashah – Dolos deceit crafty
How sin is dealt with in vs 1, 2
Forgiven – nesui lift and carry away burden of sin roll away
Covered, - Kesui – kacah out of sight / covered blemish of sin covered – Kapparah
Not imputed – chashab not charged, or brought to account – book debited deducted erased – Sin debited and righteousness credited Romaios 4:6-8
Note:-there is no mention of works! It is all grace through faith Ephesios 2:8,9 Levitical offerings show these functions, a shadow of the perfect sacrifice of Mashiach. Yochanan 1:29 (taketh away); 1 Kefa 2:24 (bare our sins in His (Yeshua) body); Romaios 4:6 (Elohim imputeth righteousness)
What sin does – The price of practice sin 3-4
Sick – physically (bone waxed), conscience / mental / emotional (roaring) Ps 51, 22:1 Haughty but haunted
