55:1 (55:2) Give ear to my tefillah, O Elohim (אלהים); and hide not Yourself from my supplication.
55:2 (55:3) Attend to me, and hear me; I am restless in my complaint, and moan noisily,
55:3 (55:4)Because of the voice of the enemy, Because of the oppression of the wicked; For they bring down trouble upon me, And in wrath they hate me.
55:4 (55:5) My heart is sore pained within me: and the terrors of death are fallen upon me.
55:5 (55:6) Fearfulness and trembling are come upon me, and horror has overwhelmed me.
55:6 (55:7) And I said, Oh that I had wings like a dove! [for then] would I fly away, and be at rest.
55:7 (55:7) Hinnei, [then] would I wander far off, [and] remain in the midbar. Selah.
55:8 (55:8) I would haveen my escape from the windy storm [and] tempest.
55:9 (55:9) Destroy, O *YHWH (יהוה), [and] divide their tongues: for I have seen violence and strife in the city.
55:10 (55:11) Day and night they go about it upon the walls thereof: mischief also and sorrow [are] in the midst of it.
55:11 (55:12) Wickedness [is] in the midst thereof: deceit and guile depart not from her streets.
55:12 (55:13) For [it was] not an enemy [that] reproached me; then I could have borne [it]: neither [was it] he that hated me [that] did magnify [himself] against me; then I would have hid myself from him:
55:13 (55:14) But [it was] thou, a man mine equal, my guide, and mine acquaintance.
55:14 (55:15) We took sweet counsel together, [and] halak to the house of Elohim (אלהים) in company.
55:15 (55:16) Let death seize upon them, [and] let them go down quick into hell: for wickedness [is] in their dwellings, [and] among them.
55:16 (55:17) As for me, I will call upon Elohim (אלהים); and YHWH (יהוה) shall yasha (save) me.
55:17 (55:18) Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and He shall hear my voice.
55:18 (55:19) He has delivered my nefesh in peace from the battle [that was] against me: for there were many with me.
55:19 (55:20) EL shall hear, and afflict them, even he that abides of old. Selah.
Because they have no changes, therefore they fear not Elohim (אלהים).
55:20 (55:21) He has put forth his hands against such as be at shalom with him: He has broken his covenant.
55:21 (55:22) [The divrei] of his mouth were smoother than butter, but war [was] in his heart: his divrei were softer than oil, yet [were] they drawn swords.
55:22 (55:23)

Cast your burden upon YHWH (יהוה), and he shall sustain you: He shall never suffer the tzaddikim to be moved.
55:23 (55:24) But You, O Elohim (אלהים), shall bring them down into the pit of destruction: bloody and deceitful men shall not live out half their days; but I will trust in You.

Despite the revolt of his son Avishalom and the defection of his intimated friend and adviser Achitophel, David had unwavering faith that Elohim would enable him to prevail. Achitophel was one of David's most trusted advisers who later led a defection to the usurping Avishalom. Read Shemuel Bet 15 , 16 , 17 , 23 ,
Then Avishalom sent for Achitophel the Gilonite, David's counselor, from his city—from Giloh—while he offered sacrifices. And the conspiracy grew strong, for the people with Avishalom continually increased in number.
Then someone told David, saying, "Achitophel is among the conspirators with Avishalom." And David said, "O Adonai, I pray, turn the counsel of Achitophel into foolishness!"
But if you return to the city, and say to Avishalom, 'I will be your servant, O king; as I was your father's servant previously, so I will now also be your servant,' then you may defeat the counsel of Achitophel for me.
Meanwhile Avishalom and all the people, the men of Yisrael, came to Yerushalayim; and Achitophel was with him.
Then Avishalom said to Achitophel, "Give advice as to what we should do."
And Achitophel said to Avishalom, "Go in to your father's concubines, whom he has left to keep the house; and all Yisrael will hear that you are abhorred by your father. Then the hands of all who are with you will be strong."
Now the advice of Achitophel, which he gave in those days, was as if one had inquired at the oracle of Elohim. So was all the advice of Achitophel both with David and with Avishalom.
Moreover Achitophel said to Avishalom, "Now let me choose twelve thousand men, and I will arise and pursue David tonight.
And when Hushai came to Avishalom, Avishalom spoke to him, saying, "Achitophel has spoken in this manner. Shall we do as he says? If not, speak up."
So Hushai said to Avishalom: "The advice that Achitophel has given is not good at this time.
So Avishalom and all the men of Yisrael said, "The advice of Hushai the Archite is better than the advice of Achitophel." For YHVH had purposed to defeat the good advice of Achitophel, to the intent that YHVH might bring disaster on Avishalom.
Then Hushai said to Zadok and Aviathar the kohanim, "Thus and so Achitophel advised Avishalom and the elders of Yisrael, and thus and so I have advised.
Now it came to pass, after they had departed, that they came up out of the well and went and told King David, and said to David, "Arise and cross over the water quickly. For thus has Achitophel advised against you."
Now when Achitophel saw that his advice was not followed, he saddled a donkey, and arose and went home to his house, to his city. Then he put his household in order, and hanged himself, and died; and he was buried in his father's tomb.
Eliphelet Ben Ahasbai, Ben ha Maachasite, Eliam Ben Achitophel the Gilonite,
1Chron 27:33 Achitophel was the king's counselor, and Hushai the Archite was the king's companion.
1Chron 27:34 After Achitophel was Yehoiada Ben Benayah, then Aviathar. And the general of the king's army was Joav.

11:28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
11:29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
11:30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."
