According to the Yehudim custom that following the counting of the omer you, read Tehillim 67. According to rabbinic tradition the association is that this Tehillim has 49 Hebrew words which corresponds to the seven complete weeks (49 days of the counting of the omer). So far I have tried to count them exact true.
However the first line phrase “Lamnatzekh binginot mizmor shir”not counted.
The seven weeks or forty-nine days of counting of omer is known as Sefirah.
This chapter is a prayer that good harvests continue, with a refrain in verse 4, 6.
It bears some resemblance of Tehillim 65 and continues the theme of blessing found in the conclusion of Tehillim 66. All of these three Tehillm speak of the universal acknowledge of Yehovah the Creator of the Universe.
The Hebrew scholar Franz Delitzsch summarized: "For it is the way of Elohim, that all the good that He manifests toward Yisrael shall be for the well-being of mankind."
When Elohim called the nation of Yisrael, He intended that the nation should have a missionary character. It was to be a witness and a testimony to the surrounding nations of two important truths.
1. The truth of monotheism—that there is only ONE ELOHIM (Shemot 20:2-3; Devarim 6:4; Yeshayahu 43:10-12).
2. The truth that a people living in obedience under the government of YEHOVAH would be happy and prosperous (Vayikra 26:3-12;Devarim 33:26-29; 1Chronical 17:20; Yirmeyahu 33:9).
That Thy way may be known on earth, Thy salvation among all nations. It was not Elohim's will that Yisrael is the only nation enjoy His blessing, but a channel to the Non-Jews or goyim. There are numerous indications throughout the Tenakh that Elohim's salvation was for the Goyim as well as for the Yehudim, and that Yisraelas a kingdom of Kohanim was to serve as mediator between Elohim and the nations.
