3:1 Peace (Shelamim) Offering as an Expression of Gratitude, Love for YHVH’s Goodness

Shelamin (Peace / fellowship offering)

Moshiach Our Reconciliation  (Daniel 9:24; 2 Cor 5:18-19; Eph 2:16;  Col 1:20-22; Heb 2:17-18)

celebrate peace with Elohim. It was a feast of joy, love and communion. 3 grades permitted Herd, Lamb, goat all male or female

And if his Korban (Oblation) [be] a zevach (sacrifice) of offering, if he offer [it] of the herd; whether [it be] a male or female, he shall offer it Tamiym (without blemish) before Adonai.

3:2 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of his offering, and kill it [at] the door of the Ohel Moed (tent of meeting): and Aharon's banim the Kohenim shall sprinkle the blood upon the altar round about.

3:3 And he shall offer of the zevach (sacrifice) of the shelamim an offering made by fire to Adonai; the chelev that covers the inwards, and all the chelev that [is] upon the inwards,

3:4 And the shetei (2) kelayot (kidneys), and the chelev (fat) that [is] on them, which [is] on the kesalim (loins), and the lobe of the kaved (liver), which he shall remove with the kelayot.

3:5 And Aharon's banim shall burn it on the altar upon the burnt zevach (sacrifice), which [is] upon the wood that [is] on the fire: [it is] an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour to Adonai.

3:6 And if his offering for a zevach (sacrifice) of shelamim to Adonai [be] of the flock; male or female, he shall offer it Tamiym (without blemish).

3:7 If he offer a Kesev (lamb) for his offering, then shall he offer it before Adonai.

3:8 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of his offering, and kill it before the Ohel Moed (tent of meeting): and Aharon's banim shall sprinkle the blood thereof round about upon the altar.

3:9 And he shall offer of the zevach (sacrifice) of the shelamim an offering made by fire to Adonai; the chelev thereof, [and] the whole rump, it shall he take off hard by the backbone; and the chelev that covers the inwards, and all the chelev that [is] upon the inwards,

3:10 And the shetei kelayot, and the chelev that [is] upon them, which [is] by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away.

3:11 And the Kohen shall burn it upon the altar: [it is] the food of the offering made by fire to Adonai.

3:12 And if his offering [be] a goat, then he shall offer it before Adonai.

3:13 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of it, and kill it before the Ohel Moed (tent of meeting): and the banim of Aharon shall sprinkle the blood thereof upon the altar round about.

3:14 And he shall offer thereof his offering, [even] an offering made by fire to Adonai; the chelev that covers the inwards, and all the chelev that [is] upon the inwards,

3:15 And the shetei kelayot, and the chelev that [is] upon them, which [is] by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away.

3:16 And the Kohen shall burn them upon the altar: [it is] the food of the offering made by fire for a sweet savour: all the chelev [is] Adonai's.

3:17 [It shall be] a perpetual statute for your generations throughout all your dwellings, that ye eat neither chelev (fat) nor blood.

Lay his hand upon the head

Lev 3:2, 8, 13 - shelamim offering: Herd, lamb goat. The person bringing this offering was expressing his joyful gratitude for the peace he enjoyed in fellowship with Adonai. A person might also present the shelamim offering in connection with some vow he was making to Adonai, or in thanksgiving for some special favor.

Lev 4: 4, 24, 29,33 Chatta'ah hattx  Korban

the Kohen that is anointed do sin according to the sin of the people;  Bullock without blemish;

a ruler has sinned, and done somewhat through ignorance against any of the mitzvot of Adonai:- a kid of the goats, a male without blemish:

the Eretz am (common people) sin through ignorance, while he doeth somewhat against any of the mitzvot of Adonai : a kid of the goats, a female without blemish, Kebes (lamb, sheep, young ram )

Lev 16:21 16:21And Aharon shall lay both his hands upon the head of the live goat, and confess over him all the iniquities of the Benai Yisrael, and all their transgressions in all their sins, putting them upon the head of the goat, and shall send him away by the hand of a fit man into the wilderness:
