The melekhim defeated under Mosheh
12:1 Now these [are] the melekhim of the eretz, which the Benai Yisrael smote, and possessed their eretz on the other side Yarden toward the rising of the sun, from the river Arnon unto mount Hermon, and all the plain on the east:
12:2 Sihon melek the Emori, who dwelt in Heshvon, [and] ruled from Aroer, which [is] upon the bank of the river Arnon, and from the middle of the river, and from half Gilead, even unto the river Yabbok, [which is] the border of the Benai Ammon;
12:3 And from the plain to the sea of Kinnarot on the east, and unto the sea of the plain, [even] the salt sea on the east, the way to Beit Yeshimot; and from the south, under Ashdot-HaPisgah (slopes of Pisgah):
12:4 And the coast of Og melek Bashan, [which was] of the remnant of the giants, that dwelt at Ashtarot (star) and at Edre'i (good pasture),
12:5 And reigned in mount Hermon, and in Salkhah, and in all Bashan, unto the border of the Geshuri and the Maachati (pressure), and half Gilead, the border of Sihon melek Heshvon.
12:6 Them did Mosheh Eved YHWH(יהוה) and the Benai Yisrael smite: and Mosheh eved YHWH (יהוה) gave it [for] a possession unto the Reuvenites, and the Gadites, and the half tribe of Menasheh.
12:7 And these [are] the melekhim of the country which Yehoshua and the Benai Yisrael smote on this side Yarden on the west, from Baalgad in the valley of Levanon even unto the mount Halak, that goeth up to Seir; which Yehoshua gave unto the tribes of Yisrael [for] a possession according to their divisions;
12:8 In the mountains, and in the valleys, and in the plains, and in the springs, and in the midbar, and in the south country; the Hittites, the Emori, and the Kennaanites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Yevusis:
12:9 The melek Yericho, one; the melek Ai, which [is] beside Bethel, one;
12:10 The melek Yerushalayim, one; the melek Hevron, one;
12:11 The melek Yarmut, one; the melek Lakhish, one;
12:12 The melek Eglon, one; the melek Gezer, one;
12:13 The melek Devir, one; the melek Geder, one;
12:14 The melek Hormah, one; the melek Arad, one;
12:15 The melek Livnah, one; the melek Adullam, one;
12:16 The melek Makkedah, one; the melek Bethel, one;
12:17 The melek Tappuah, one; the melek Hefer, one;
12:18 The melek Aphek, one; the melek Lasharon, one;
12:19 The melek Madon, one; the melek Hazor, one;
12:20 The melek Shimron-Meron, one; the melek Achshaph, one;
12:21 The melek Taanach, one; the melek Megiddo, one;
