The Purpose of studying the Tabernacle of Wilderness
If we (Non-Jewish Believer) have not studied the Tenakh we will not be able fully understand the New Covenant. There are many terms use in Brit Hadashah (New Covenant) such as these words "the Lamb" "Atonement" "Unleaven", "Leaven" "the conception of Blood sacrifice" so forth will not have any meaning if we have not studied the tabernacle. For Instance the book of Hebrews cannot be understood without the understanding of the tabernacle plan and worship. Although the Mishkan is the things of the past, I certainly believe it is a shadow or the pattern or the type of Mashiach and blueprint of HaSheim's redemptive Covenant to Israel and to all mankind. I can't help but express my grateful thanks to HaSheim for His wonderful provision of the Messiah. The Tabernacle was an expression of HaSheim's love and of His people's.
The view of the Mishkan layout
The above plan layout of the Mishkan (Tabernacle or "tent-dwelling") which is in the shape of the cross. This layout shows us the stages of how a priesthood of believer should approach the Holy ONE of Yisrael. Every items, material, colour, height, position, size speaks of the characteristic of the deity of the Mashiach and His redemption Covenant. I use a black background to represent those who are outside of the Mishkan (Tabernacle) are living in darkness while those who are in the Mashiach live in His light. We will look into the details as we go along.
As we can see that the Mishkan was fenced with linen hanging 100 cubit long and 50 cubic wide, support onto the of pillars with 20 socket of bronze and hooks which symbolise YHVH's judgement on those who sin against Him.
To enter YHVH's dwelling place one has to pass the Brazen Altar and the laver and go through the veil.
There is only one entrance to the Mishkan and that is the 20 cubic Wide and beautiful door. The unique structure of the Door of the Outer Court was a large curtain, made of fine linen. The curtain of the Mishkan were all woven and embroidered in 4 main colour which often describe as the 4 besuras HaGeulah (goodnews) in the New Covenant:
In the spiritual understanding anyone who wants to approach HaSheim is through Messiah Yeshua.
Messiah Yahshua said "I AM the door; if anyone enters through ME, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture." (Yochanan 10:9 ) Yeshua also said that
"I AM the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me." (Yochanan 14:6 )
This wide door also speaks of HaSheim's love that "who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth." (1 Tim 2:4 )
What is the significance material means to you?
The Assignment
This Brazen Altar of burn offering stood inside the court; it was 5 cubic wide, 5 cubic long & 3 cubic high. The Brazen Altar is made of Brass (Bronze) probably came from cyprus. In the middle of this Altar was the grating on which the fire burned, one can understand that the brazen Altar itself is very fire resistant with a melting point of about 1949oF. The Kohen will lay the lamb on the fire. ""ki ADONAI ELOHEI khaesh okhla hu el kana:" (Dvarim 4:24) and also "Our Adonai Elohei is a consuming fire" (Irvim 12:29) Here what the Israelities does by the laying on hands (semikhah) on that sacrifice lamb which he offered is taking his places, such he sees that lamb his substitute. In the present day We all deserve judgement, Messiah Yeshua endured YHVH's fiery wrath. He was made sin for us so that we might be made the righteousness of YHVH in Him. For 3 hours He was in the horrifying darkness, forsaken by YHVH Elohim He cried out "ELI, ELI, LAMA SABACHTHANI?" (In Aramaic language) that is, "MY G_D, MY G_D, WHY HAVE YOU FORSAKEN ME?" This is His great love and His finished work. In conclusion we can better understand why mercy cannot be shown to someone who rejects the redemption work of the Messiah and the lake of eternal fire remains for someone who refuses to accept this Sacrifice.
The Brazen Laver was use by the Kohen for purification during their consecration to the Kehunah (Priesthood). The Kohen had to be both spiritually and Physically Kosher (clean) before they enter into the presence of a Holy YHVH in communion and fellowship.
When the Kohen washed at the laver they saw their image reflected from the brass mirrors which typified the Messiah Yeshua's Ministry of Judgement and also speaks of believers' self-Judgement. The mirror spoke of the Dvar of HaSheim (Living Torah) reveals and reflect our sins. (1 Corinths 11:37)
There are 4 main stages of Santification requires of HaSheim.
The Kohen dress in his white garment, embroidered girdle, he must wash himself at the laver before he is fit to enter the santuary as a purified Kohen. How does this imply as believer? We Messianic believer are royal priesthood. Must we be converted again and again? Do we need to repeat our request for redemption by the blood? No certainly not. We are redeemed once and for all. Messiah Y SH A had paid it all. It is finished! - Nirtsah! (MattiYahu 26:30; Yochanan 19:28,30)
However for a unbeliever is a sinner living in total darkness, hopeless and spiritually dead. Through the suffering and death of Messiah Yeshua on the execution stake, the redemption work is completed. All the sinner could do is to confess, repent and accept Yeshua as his Messiah.
As a MAZEL TOV (a Child of G_d) you cans still in subjection to defilement by sin. This impurity (tum'ah) occures in your daily walk (halakhic). The water in the laver speaks of the Dvar of HaSheim who will clean our impurities (tum'ah). In Yochanan 15:3 says "You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you."
The Characteristic of a Kohen HaGaDol is that he is a merciful, compassionate, ever lives, praying for His own to help them in their difficulties and carries the names of His redeemed ones on His strong shoulders, the names of each of His own is engraved in a stone of the breast plate and carries them on His loving heart.

The Breastplate and Ephod of the Kohen HaGadol An Important Part of Worship in the Temple
The Twelve Tribes of Israel Emblems.
The ephod was a vest or cape-like garment woven out of threads spun from gold, sky-blue, purple, and crimson wool and twined linen. Worn on top of the robe, it had two shoulder straps upon each of which was placed a precious onyx stone set in gold. Upon these two stones were engraved the names of the twelve tribes of Israel: "Place the two stones upon the shoulders of the ephod as remembrance stones for Bnei Yisrael.
The Kohan HaGadol (High Priest) garment (garment type of Atoning covering) wearing the square shape breastplate (Choshen), embroidered with gold 12 precious stones representing the 12 names of the 12 tribes of Israel . The Kohen's breastplate is 4 rows of threes which consist of Sardis, brownish red; Topaz, yellow or yellowish red; Carbuncle, red garnet; Sapphire, deep blue; Diamond, sparkling white; Amber, yellow; Agate, delicate blue; Amethyst, violet; Beryl, green-yellow; Onyx; Jasper, pure and clear. To take a closer look at the stones click on the Picture above. Messiah Yeshua is our Great High Priest who would upholds His Congregation upon His shoulders, He value each and every believer as precious jewel and carries us in His loving heart. If you have any thing against your brethren remember Messiah Yeshua had died for the sin of that brother and is very precious to Him.
The above picture is the breastplate, take a closer look, you will notice is little bulky. Well the Choshen (breastplate of Judgement) is folded double. Because hidden inside the Choshen is the Urim and the Thummim (See also Exodus 28:30, Lev. 8:8; B'midbar. 27:21; Dvarim. 33:8; Shemuel Alef. 28:6; Ezra 2:63; Neh. 7:65. ) which was use to determine the Adonai's will for His people. Here we have our Kohen HaGadol Messiah YeSHuA where we can tell Him everything and we wait quietly and patiently for His Divine answer. In His time He will shows His ways.
Interestingly, when I look at the breastplate it looks like our Ancient Chinese imperial judge who would wears a square thing on the chest. Of course that was definitely not the breastplate because it had a dragon on it but the adopted application behind this was to judge without corruption, graciously, fairly and righteously. However in man weakness it is often disappointing. Knowing what is right but unable to fulfill it.
The table of showbread
(Known as Lechem Ha Panim means Bread of Presence, Bread of Countenance Heb 9:2).
At that time when Yeshua was on earth, He has taught the people that man should not live on bread alone but to feed on every Dvar of HaSheim and Yeshua had defeated the ha satan By this statement "It is written, 'AL HALECHEM LVADOH YCHE-YEH HAADAM, KI AL KOL MOTZAH FI HASHEM. (Man shall not live on bread alone, But on every word that proceeds out of the mouth of YHVH ELOHIM'" Devarim 8:3)
In Yochanan 6:32 to 58
Yeshua therefore said to them, "Most assuredly, I tell you, it wasn't
Moshe who gave you the bread out of heaven, but my Father gives you the
true bread out of heaven. For the bread of Elohim is that which comes
down out of heaven, and gives life to the world." They said therefore
to him, "Adonai, always give us this bread." Yeshua said to them. "I am
the bread of life. He who comes to me will not be hungry, and he who
believes in me will never be thirsty. But I told you that you have seen
me, and yet you don't believe.
All those who the HA'AV (Father) gives me will come to me. Him who comes to me I will in no way throw out. For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him who sent me.This is the will of my Father who sent me, that of all he has given to me I should lose nothing, but should raise him up at the last day. This is the will of the one who sent me, that everyone who sees the Son, and believes in him, should have eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day."
The Yehudim therefore murmured concerning him, because he said, "I am the bread which came down out of heaven. They said, "Isn't this Yeshua, the son of Yosef, whose father and mother we know? How then does he say, 'I have come down out of heaven? Therefore Yeshua answered them, "Don't murmur among yourselves. No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up in the last day. It is written in the prophets, 'They will all be taught by YHVH.' Therefore everyone who hears from the Father, and has learned, comes to me. Not that anyone has seen the Father, except he who is from G_d. He has seen the Father.
Most assuredly, I tell you, he who believes in me has eternal life. I am the bread of life.Your fathers ate the manna in the midbar (wilderness), and they died. This is the bread which comes down out of heaven, that anyone may eat of it and not die. I am the living bread which came down out of heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. Yes, the bread which I will give for the life of the world is my flesh. The Yehudim therefore contended with one another, saying, "How can this man give us his flesh to eat? Yeshua therefore said to them, "Most assuredly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you don't have life in yourselves. He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is food indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood lives in me, and I in him.
As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father; so he who feeds on me, he will also live because of me. This is the bread which came down out of heaven -- not as our fathers ate the manna, and died. He who eats this bread will live forever."
The life of the Messianic believer is fed by the true Bread. Feeding upon Him, being occupied with Him through His Word, receiving Him and enjoying Him ensure our spiritual growth and true Blessing.
The MENORAH ( 7 candlestick, lampstand)
Menorah nature and Significant
Be therefore imitators of HaSheim, as beloved children. Walk in love, even as Messiah also loved you, and gave himself up for us, an offering and a Korbarot (sacrifice) to HaSheim for a sweet-smelling fragrance. Ephesians 5:1-2
Near the thick curtain Parokhet (veil) was the golden altar of Incense offering sweet incense. The golden altar of incense was 36 inches high and 18 inches square was much smaller than the Brazen altar. The following material use were acacia wood, covered with gold, and had a horn at each corner. A gold rim encircled the top with gold rings at each corner. The acacia wood** (came from mimosa tree, it is hard than Oak more durable) staves were covered with gold were put though the rings to carry it.
Note
**Acacia or Shittim wood overlaid with gold, standing on a foundation of silver. There is only one scripture which refers directly to acacia or shittim wood, which us a suggestion as to the spiritual meaning "I will plant in the midbar (wilderness) the cedar, the shittim tree, and the myrtle, and the old tree... that they may see, and know and consider and understand together, that the hand of YHVH Elohim hath done this (YeshaYahu 41:19-20). Gold stands for all that is valuable to man. The gold takes form of the acacia wood which it overlays which best describe the "form of a servant" was never in the Father's eyes a veil to the divine glory. It is Messiah Yeshua the acacia wood, covered with gold (Yeshayahu 7:14, Mt 1:23, YeshaYahu 9:6.)
These verses is a presentation of YESHUA who is YHVH and yet who as the obedient ONE yielded Himself up to YHVH. We can see the link in YERMIYAHU 23:5-6 "...I will raise unto David a righteous Branch ... called YHVH our Righteousness" YECHEZKEL 1:26 ".....the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a Man above it. .YHVH alone can sit upon that throne (Daniel 7:9). Messiah Yeshua is called the Ancient of Days as mention in Daniel 7:9,13,22 and He is this ONE both human and DIVINE nature.
The Description of making the Incense Altar is found in Shemot chap 30:1-10
The Process of making the Incense is in Shemot 30:34-38
The 4 types sweet smelling incense ( I⊙IaUIaA?ˆY. ) consist of stacte, onycha, galbanum; pure frankincense: was a beautiful picture of the Messiah in all His perfection and grace before YHVH and mankind.
Warning against the wrong way of offering: Strange incense could not be use, incense could not be use for own personal use. In the spiritual understanding our prayer life should be conform to pattern set by YHVH in His Word, we are not to offer "vain repetitions but pray in the divine will of YHVH in the name of Yeshua. Our prayer are hindered when we are out of fellowship with YHVH, we have sin in our daily walk, we harbour an unforgiving spirit against a brother or sister in Messiah, when we have willful disobedience or when we pray for our own selfish motives. Please beware that we should not ask our brethen to pray for us when our prayers is unrighteous, selffish, deceitful, unclean, and unforgiving prayer, the Lord will not entertain such prayer. Such prayer are strange fire. On the contrary YHVH will judge us if we do so. In addition when we pray for someone please be discerning, inquire from the person if you are indoubt.
Notice there are 4 horns of the altar, it was use for the a specific purpose in relationship to the blood sacrifice. On the Yom HaKippurim (10th day of the 7th Month Day of Atonement), the Kohen Gadol took some of the blood that was used to sprinkle the Mercy Seat and put it on the horns of the altar of incense to "make an atonement up the horns of it". The purpose of this was to "cleanse it and hallow it from the uncleaness of the Benai Yisrael (Children of Israel)

If the anointed Kohen sins so as to bring guilt on the people, then let him offer for his sin, which he has sinned, a young bull without blemish to the ADONAI for a sin offering. Vayikra 4:3 |

The Kohen shall dip his finger in the blood, and sprinkle some of the blood seven times before the ADONAI before the veil of the sanctuary. The Kohen shall put some of the blood on the horns (keren Yeshuah, Horn of Salvation) of the altar of sweet incense before the ADONAI, which is in the tent of meeting; and he shall pour out all the blood of the bull out at the base of the altar of burnt offering, which is at the door of the Tent of Meeting. VAYIKRA 4:6-7 |
|
He shall take all the Helev (fat) of the bull of the sin offering off of it; the Helev that covers the innards, and all the helev (fat) that is on the innards, and the two kidneys, and the helev that is on them, which is by the loins, and the cover on the liver, with the kidneys, he shall take away, as it is taken off of the ox of the sacrifice of peace offerings. The Kohen shall burn them on the altar of burnt offering. The bull's skin, all its flesh, with its head, and with its legs, its innards, and its dung, even the whole bull shall he carry forth outside the camp to a clean place, where the ashes are poured out, and burn it on wood with fire. Where the ashes are poured out it shall be burned. VAYIKRA 4:8-12 |
When the blood from the sin offering was sprinkled on the horn of the altar ˆsU?ˆYI3AEA?C, it symbolized a prayer for pardon of sin before HaShem. The blood applied on the horn of the altar gave the incense of prayer its value. The Messiah's blood gives value to our prayers before HaShem. We read Hebrews 9:11 that the "Messiah having come as a Kohen Gadol of the coming good things, through the greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this creation," then in vs 14 the blood of Messiah, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to YHVH, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living YHVH. For this opens the way for us Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need.

And thou shalt make two cherubims of gold, of beaten work shalt thou make them, in the two ends of the mercy seat.
In the Most Holy of Holies was the Aron (Ark of the Covenant) which consist of the 2 K'ruvim (Cherubim) representing the Sh'khinah (glory) spreading the wing casting their shadow over the Mercy Seat. Only the Kohen HaGadol could enter the Holy of the Holies once a year on Yom Kippur to offer blood on the Mercy Seats for his sins and the sins of the people. Yahweh has given specific instruction of how the Kohanim and Kohen HaGadol can enter into the Bi'as ha-Mikdash (Holy Place) and under what condition was forbidden Entry. The Veil in Hebrew parokhet means separate and describes its ministry.
- "THAT IS TO SAY HIS FLESH"
The Parokhet (veil) was a picture of the Adonai's life and ministry. The veil hid the Shekinah of YHVH, that means the divine glory of YHVH was hidden during MaShiach Yeshua earthly ministry (Jn 1:1; 14,18). The colourful material used to make the veil are type of the MaShiach. The 3 colours interwoven into the veil are symbolic of Yeshua' incaranation, ministry.
Yeshua cried again with a loud voice, and yielded up his spirit. Behold, the veil of the Ha Mikdash (temple) was torn in two from the top to the bottom. The eretz quaked and the rocks were split. The Kever (tombs) were opened, and many gufot (bodies) of the Kadoshim (holy ones; saints) who had fallen asleep were raised; and coming out of the tombs after his resurrection, they entered into the Ir Hokedesh (Holy cities) and appeared to many. (Matt 27:50-53)
There are three main entrance inside the Tabernacle -"View as Types of Spiritual stages walk with and worship G_d".
New Believer "offering of turtledoves, or of young pigeons."
The first entrance are those believer who have put their faith in
the Lamb of G_d and received this sacrifice. He is then wash in the
basin of Laver, cleanse from sin and have no condemation for those who
are in the MaShiach. This stage the New Believer have yet to attain
deeper spiritual understanding of scripture, and worship "babes".
Young Believer "sheep or goat"
When this group of believer have strong desire to continue to grow
in their faith from milk diet to Spiritual solid food and have grown in
Spiritual Maturity (hitbagrut), he would then enter the second entrance
in which he could offer sweet favour incense unto HaSheim.
Mature Believer "bullock"
If the Kehunah of Ma'aminim (believer) have the deep desire to

some young believer instead sheep or goat offer turtle or dove offering.
Read Malachi 1 HaSheim warns believers who are not giving the type of quality worship that we should be giving are accountable on the Bema Judgement
Conclusion
Being
born again is only one time but to grow have close intimacy with ADONAI
ECHAD (compound Unity) requires our heart, soul and mind. The Mishkan
is a type of heaven Framework and in principle. It shows us how we can
come close fellowhsip with HaSheim. The Believer's walk with HaSheim is
never an easy road, it is know as the narrow way. At close of my life
am I still faithful to YHVH ELOHIM?
That which was from the beginning, that which we have heard, that which we have seen with our eyes, that which we saw, and our hands touched, concerning the Word of life 1:2 (and the life was revealed, and we have seen, and testify, and declare to you the life, the eternal life, which was with the Father, and was revealed to us); that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us. Yes, and our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son, Yeshua the Messiah. And we write these things to you, that our joy may be fulfilled. (1 (Yochanan 1:1-4)
However, Ha`Elyon doesn't dwell in temples made with hands, as the prophet says, 'heaven is my throne, And the eretz the footstool of my feet. Acts 7:48-49
The HaSheim who made the world and all things in it, he, being ADONAI of heaven and eretz, dwells not in temples made with hands, neither is he served by men's hands, as though he needed anything, seeing he himself gives to all life and breath, and all things. (Acts 17:24-25)
But will HaSheim in very deed dwell on the eretz? behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens can't contain you; how much less this house that I have built! (1 Ki 8:27)
But who is able to build him a house, seeing heaven and the heaven of heavens can't contain him? who am I then, that I should build him a house, save only to burn incense before him?
Thus says the ADONAI, heaven is my throne, and the eretz is my footstool: what manner of house will you build to me? and what place shall be my rest? (Yesha`yahu 66:1)
